I just don't see how the current players is much better, Benitez is a better manager than Houllier but I don't think his record of buyin players is very good. How come he has to sell so many players HE buys?

Rafa got it so wrong last night by playing Voronin.  He offered absolutely nothing in the first half yet Rafa kept him on until the 68th min. 

You can't defend the decision to play him never mind persist with him until the 68th minute.  It is nothing new for Rafa though, he has done it with Kuyt, Lucas and others in the past.

He also has a habit of bringing off players who are having a good game, he doesn't like bringing off either of his beloved holding players even if we need to score.

The man is an enigma, there's no method in his madness but there's madness in his method!

Not only playing Voronin, I thought playing Carra at RB was somewhat odd given we were looking to win. I'd have played Benayoun behind Torres in the Gerrard role and probably resorted to Babel (regardless if he'd played badly, so not hindsight) RB would have depended if Degen was available or registered for CL.

Also the bench was a bit lacking in attacking - Babel, N'Gog and Aquilani fine, but the rest were more defensive and why do we need a bench with Ayala, Spearing and Darby?!? If we'd played Darby at RB we could then have had Carra at CB, Ayala off the bench and perhaps an attacking option even if only a kid

As for the 'race to 100 pages'

Takeover Talk : 100 pages took from 22/11/07-22/01/08, so 62 days
Sack Him : 72 pages between 20/10/09 and 05/11/09, so 17 days only and counting.

At four pages a day we're well on course!

While a lot of people seem to think giving the manager time is a good thing, I might argue it can be a bad thing as they can lose their way as their main strength proves not strong enough.

For example, Rafa's strength was defence, now our defending is laughable. Houllier made some good signings, but towards the end he was too wrapped up in the "next Henry", "next Zidane", "next ....................." And I think they inevitably become paranoid as their reign progresses but the holy grail is no closer to coming home.

Perhaps some of us fans struggle to let go. I was thinking this morning that if Torres goes and we progess then so be it, hard as it may be to want a top striker to go, players move on and so should clubs and fans. He's our hero, but I'm sure Ronaldo was to the mancs and they sold him off and move on just like they have done before with other players.

give him time to put us outta europe then get rid at xmas so we can sell alot of that guff we hav and rebuild in time to get into top4 for end of season so r season isnt a total shambles. rafas time is up hasnt got the skills to build a good quality deep squad

I'm actually being serious now, how do you actually go about becoming a football manager, does anybody know, becuase Wenger, Maureen and Rafa never played at the top flight did they? Not that I'm suggesting you just walk into a top flight management job.

Here's another prime example of the shyte I speak of. Such pearls of wisdom there. That's right, folks; this beaut want's us to get rid of Rafa and all his staff, strip the whole squad of "guff" as he puts it, and get a new manager with a total rebuild of squad players, hoping they mircaulously gel, and get that top four finish that is well and truely beyond Rafa's powers as Liverpool manager. This man not only has a crystal ball to see that we won't finish in the top four, he's also worked out in his mind the best course of action is to throw in the towel. Bravo. Coming in here and reading sh*t like this is what makes my day sometimes.
