I just don't see how the current players is much better, Benitez is a better manager than Houllier but I don't think his record of buyin players is very good. How come he has to sell so many players HE buys?

You can't defend the decision to play him never mind persist with him until the 68th minute. It is nothing new for Rafa though, he has done it with Kuyt, Lucas and others in the past.
He also has a habit of bringing off players who are having a good game, he doesn't like bringing off either of his beloved holding players even if we need to score.

At the moment I'd actually say Houllier was slightly the better manager, he was never the same for Liverpool after that heart scare though and towards the end he was making decisions almost as weird as Rafa's.

I'm actually starting to think he's a bit dim, some of his decisions just don't make any footballing sense at all, e.g Voronin. Also why in the feck did he not play Aquaman, at least give him 20 minutes and tell him to stake a claim, become a hero.

So says you, the one posting on a internet forum. If Rafa had your business sense and footballing knowledge, we'd be kings of the world by now. No one would stop us.
Honestly, some of the shyte people post here at times is beyond the pale, and you're guilty of some of the worst.

Oh man I would love to have Rafa's job. £4.5 million a year, sweet.![]()
