Need to take our chances - that first half is story of the season - playing well majority of time just not taking our chances .

He couldnt even take the corners properly - Yossi had to replace him at the end taking them

dominated the half, we should be leading, we played some great football on the left. get voronin off the pitch, he is just rubbish, cant hold the ball, falls over all the time, cant cross, cant score. sub him soon as possible, babel perhaps or even aqua.

i do feel that lyon have something locked in, im sure if we dont take our chances, they will punish us. so hopefully go out in the second half full guns blazing and score early. we are definitely playing better than i expected

Well we've done pretty well there I reckon, they haven't had a shot to speak of. Fair play to Insua and Carra who are doing a decent job on two useful wide midfielders, while Agger looks very good. I'm still very unconvinced about the Lucas/Masherano axis, and obviously about Voronin. My guess is that rafa will pull the Russian and get Aquilani on to play in the Gerrard role. I also still think we'll win 2-1.

Good half though by the lads, no complaints here.
