I dont know what Torres current situation is, is he fit? is he carrying a knock?

With a fit Torres I certainly wouldnt do what Rafa has, no. but with a half fit Torres injured like he was last year and a Gerrard looking like he needs surgery we cant exactly risk Torres getting injured for the long term can we?

my point tho is even if he is under par and not moving around much he still makes fulham think not to attack to much which gives us more chance to keep it 1-1 /nick a winner.

Are some of you serious you would rather risk a half fit Torres for the last 30min in this match the boy is playing with pain killing injections which means he won't know if he overstretches his muscle again. Its got nothing to do with the champions League and everything to do with making sure he doesn't required surgery in 2-3 weeks time
