I'm quite partial to bit of West Indian curry myself nan, although you have to a little bit careful as they don't just stick to Chicken and Beef. They curry some strange animals. In actual fact, their national "curry" dish is a mountain dwelling animal which we don't really view in a gastronomic sense over here. I have eaten it however and it's not too bad as it goes. Jerk Chicken is better though.

Ive had that curried goat , it wasnt bad actualy had it at a footie do last year, didnt know it was goat until after id ate it ,

An Goat that chippy at the fiveways is lovely, not as good as our one though in Netherley, ha i remember when i took my mate from round here up to me mams , we went the chippy near ours , an the chinese girl behind the counter said to me mate in a pure scouse accent what do you want girl :laugh:

My mate from London nearly fell on the floor shed never heard a chinese person talk any other language than what they normaly do , warra you wan :laugh:

They tend to stick to more traditional animals to put in their stir fry's and curries though the Chinese, I do like their food it must be said.

Greek food is nice too, I'm especially partial to a few of their cheeses.

I do like Halloumi nan, fantastic cheese. As you say it doesn't melt on the barbie either, just chargrills up. In fact, I think as far as cheese go, its most definately the.... greatest of all time.

The chippy I miss the most is Albert and Jeans Park Rd ,the barbecue ribs are special ,and the spring rolls .....
