I'm quite partial to bit of West Indian curry myself nan, although you have to a little bit careful as they don't just stick to Chicken and Beef. They curry some strange animals. In actual fact, their national "curry" dish is a mountain dwelling animal which we don't really view in a gastronomic sense over here. I have eaten it however and it's not too bad as it goes. Jerk Chicken is better though.

Ive had that curried goat , it wasnt bad actualy had it at a footie do last year, didnt know it was goat until after id ate it ,

An Goat that chippy at the fiveways is lovely, not as good as our one though in Netherley, ha i remember when i took my mate from round here up to me mams , we went the chippy near ours , an the chinese girl behind the counter said to me mate in a pure scouse accent what do you want girl My mate from London nearly fell on the floor shed never heard a chinese person talk any other language than what they normaly do , warra you wan

then when you're trying to order there's normally a couple of little kids peering up at you from behind the glass counter.

They tend to stick to more traditional animals to put in their stir fry's and curries though the Chinese, I do like their food it must be said.

Greek food is nice too, I'm especially partial to a few of their cheeses.

I do like Halloumi nan, fantastic cheese. As you say it doesn't melt on the barbie either, just chargrills up. In fact, I think as far as cheese go, its most definately the.... greatest of all time.

The chippy I miss the most is Albert and Jeans Park Rd ,the barbecue ribs are special ,and the spring rolls .....
