He was saying on 5live just now they were trying to get another clean sheet as Pepe is close to some record. They wanted to keep a winning mentatlity so it wasn't that bad. But he didn't have to shove Arby like that still.

It's not even a big deal so people need to stop talking about it now.

i'm sure he's not proud of that but probably would do that again if needed..i prefer winners like him giving it all.

Yeah too right. Nice to see they actually still want to win in style despite already having lost. Like Rafa said finishing 2nd place gets an extra few mil so for us that could mean another potential signing.

WTF?!!
Yesterday's result really got to some of us.  :no

No, I just think that that kind of behaviour is disgraceful and not something that a veteran player should be a part of. Carragher should be happy that Arbeloa didnt make more of it and put Carragher all over the papers.

This is Liverpool, and that behaviour is not acceptable

And btw this has nothing to do with yesterday's result

BTW... I believe Alonso is absolutely crucial to the team. I really rate him as third most important player after Gerrard and Torres. I just hope rafa doesn't even think about selling him or trading him... you can see when he came on he controlled the game so well and our passing from defense to attack became a beauty... players like benayoun and dirk kuyt really benefit when alonso is playing... and did you see him dummy that gave babel the easiest chance in the game? I can't believe that guy missed that...

I agree, he was class from the moment he came on. Its just unfortunate that his best position is also Mascherano's best.

Also good to see him playing a big part calming everyone down.

I disagree mate. it has to be a factor, can you really see that happening if we were 10 mins from lifting the Prem title. rather than battling for 2nd?

Thing is Rafa is in a position where he has to juggle so if he sees another player able to do Xabis job as well as him for half the price and that allows us to spend a bit more elsewhere then he should go for it. Im not saying sell Xabi but Rafa will do what he thinks is best for us to be able to challange next year.

Carra was bang out of order , if he had a problem with Arby he should of took it to the changies, not on the fecking telly, I think he will be mortified when he see his snarlin face, As i said before it needs sorting an quick we dont wont no separeate divisions appearing in the dressing room.

Nanny I think your making it out to be bigger than it actually is and people continuing to talk about it will just serve to make it an issue when it isnt. Yes he was a bit over the top but he is a professional so im sure they have kissed and made up now.

I hope the players remember how they felt yesterday and really go for it tooth and nail next season

Alright maybe Carra overeacted.
But to wish your club vice-captain to be sent off for a push on his own teammate, is just not On mate.

Don't know about you but it seems odd to me.

What a load of ballocks! Just handbags, some people/posters need to chill out!

And btw I think alonso is easily AS important as torres (moody fecker) and Gerard, he's world class and irreplaceable for us

Depends on what you mean by
"yesterday's result really got to some of us"

Of course if we were about to win the premier league that I would probably suck it up, want him to stay on and finish out the game. But the result doesnt change how seriously bad his behaviour was.

That kind of behaviour is disgraceful. These are people that spend 11 months of the year spending basically every day with each other, that kind of infighting is never good and does shocking things to team morale.

dont know why you're on Torres' back today mate, no need for it IMO. It's not like the players have a whole lot to play for, not that it's an excuse for playing badly or anything but the mentality of it was always going to come into play at some point today
