I cannot believe you have actually typed that load of sh!t, that is pathetic and as for Arry Redknapp as manager
There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

I recall Chelsea playing sh*t football, and they won two titles doing it. Don't ask me how, it's a mystery.

It was down to Rafa that we looked like a team that has no idea how to play football.

what was it with the team line up last night? we was always going to have loads of time on the ball, yet he put out a team that has defence all over it.
Agge should have started, he is good at moving up field.
Keane is setting in stone that he is a waste of money.
Rafa once again did not do his home work on West ham or a lower team, i am sure he just looks at the prem table and think " ok there are not in the top 4 so i will just send the team out and let them have a run about and we will still win"

how the hell are we top of the prem and playing :censored:, just got to wonder how far ahead we would be by now if we was playing good footbal.

sort it out Rafa, we are being found out and soon the 0-0 draws will tun into 0-1 loss.

Agger had a knock , that's why he didn't start .

So you wouldn't have started keane ? Who would have you started and i thought you didn't like rotation?

Sort it out Lakes, lad

Sami was one of our best players last night so I don't see what use complaining about Agger on the bench is.

Very disappointed with yesterdays result- I know we had a few good chances (Kuyt, Benni...) but IMO if Gerrard and Torres are not 100% then the whole team just looks jaded. Why is it that we need Gerrard to pick up the game by the scruff of its neck.  Why can't some of the other players do this?  why do we make it hard for ourselves? I just feel we are over relying on these two (need others to pull the weight). I know that we've won games without them, but we need all our players to step it up about 5 gears now.

I'm now fed up with him, if he can't see that it might be a good idea to try Babel up front then he is a fecking idiot, by taking Keane off game after game he is proving to be an idiot.

Still curious why I don't find you objective and balanced, Heimdall? ???

i know alot of us are not pleased with the result and performance but look at it this way.....
If you were told at the end of last season that this year we would be top of the league above the mancs, chelsea, arsenal....i for one would snap up the offer!

yes fulham, stoke, west ham at home all are games we should be winning comfortably.....but last season we had a few dodgy results against the "smaller teams", the difference was that we picked up only 2 points against the other 3 in the so called "top four".

I remember someone saying that if we had beaten both chelsea and united home and away last season we would have won the league....this year we are half way to doing that!

yes are football (especialy in he final 3rd) has been poor as of late, and yes in a way we have waisted a couple of great opportunites to have a nice lead ahead of chelsea, but we are stil top of the table!

lets support the lads and the manager until the very end!

I believe! :D

Tonyeh - what did you say - "I simply cannot imagine that Chelsea, Utd or even today's Arsenal would have had that much possession and not at least got a goal against the hammers last night"

Well just take a look at the stats for the Chelsea v Newcastle game that was played on 22nd Nov this year - Chelsea had 33 shots and 9 on target - Newcastle had 2 shots and neither were on target. Try convincing me that Newcastle are any better than West Ham - you won't!  Chelsea also let things slip against Arsenal after leading 1-0. Chelsea's home record this season is also not very clever and if it continues it will not win them the league.

If ever there was a time to get behind our team it is now. The BOOING doesn't help. Cheering the team on when they are struggling does! The KOP made more noise about supporting the call for freedom of a "possible" murderer than getting behind the team last night and the BOOS at the end - well shame on them they don't deserve to see the team win anything - THEY ARE NOT TRUE SUPPORTERS !! Don't know enough about the Michael Shields case to pass judgement and I certainly haven't seen the evidence - I accept that it is very likely that Shield has been badly treated.

It is a very many seasons since Liverpool have been top of the League and I fully appreciate that some of it hasn't been pretty. Surely that would suggest that we can get better? Listening to Ian St.John moaning that the board must give Rafa the funds that he needs in January to secure the title! Rafa has spent virtually the same as Ferguson over the last 4/5 years - circa £26m a year and that takes into account the players he has sold. Rafa has had massive support from the board since he came to Anfield - St.John and a few others need to stop whinging and appreciate what we have got. Rafa through some awful team selection got himself into a right mess during the early stages of last seasons Champions League. If we had gone out during the group stages I think he would only have himself to blame if he had been sacked. He is still learning. Look were we are now in the CL and the title race.Let's do our job and support them and leave them to do theirs. The team are under more pressure than they have been for a very long time - WE CAN HELP!
Net Spend Over The Last 5 Years 21/22 to 25/26  (10 years
are in brackets 16/17 to 25/26 )
LFC €490m (€650m)
Everton +€15m (€290m)
Arsenal €770m (€1107m)
Spurs €665m (€892m)
Chelsea €740m (€1045m)
Man City €460m (€1095m)
Man United €780m (€1340m)

I had no problems with the line-up and i'm not sure how you can say it was defensive? He played two-up, kept Masch on the bench and played with just one holding midfielder. I'd say that was about as attacking as our starting line-up has looked all season. As for the ommision of Agger, didn't Sami have a decent game? I thought he played well enough. Had Agger not played someone would have been arguing for the inclusion of Hyppia to try and take advantage of the 15 or so corners we had on the night.

The moaning & groaning is not about last nights game per se, its a cumulative offering of poor performances of the past 3 games at home. The lack of creativity. The bizzare choice of substitutions. The gradual grinding down of players confidence. Playing players out of position. Questionable signings in 08-09 campaign. I know its early, but lets see come what May

If it had of been Liverpool 1-2 Arsenal on Sunday, would Chelsea have capitalized fully of a fixture against West Ham at their venue on the Monday??
