For me I would have to say that Man Utd, Chelsea and Arsenal play far more attractive, flowing, attacking football than us irrespective of where we are in the league. For example I found the Chelsea v Arsenal match much better quality football than the match when we beat them although I enjoyed our result slightly more  :D

This is a serious question so please try to answer it without calling me silly names or telling me to go and kill myself.

Who do I like watching? Only Liverpool for me I watch the others when we are not playing in hope they get beat.

If your so fed up with the way we are playing go and be a fan of Arsenal, Chelsea or Man u.

Thanks Ciggy didn't expect you to be objective anyway.

So looking back in this thread, it's only Stu who thinks we should sack Rafa now
as far as I can see. Was there anyone else?

By the way, I wasn't impressed with the booing either.
Thought it was a bit mad to boo when we've just gone top - irrespective
of how we played.

Some people say that there is a "big four", but I think the reality is that there is a "big three", then Liverpool, then the rest starting with Villa.

There is an undeniable gulf between Arsenal, Chelsea, Man Utd and Liverpool.

I have to say that I like watching Arsenal play, when they play well and was cheering them on last Sunday. I was absoltuely made up when they beat Chelsea, double so because of the favour it did us. After that, I don't mind watching Chelsea, but I despise Didier Drogba. Although he's toned the diving down over the past few years, I still associate him with falling over on his t1ts with every slight oportunity.

I cannot bring myself to say I enjoy watching Utd play however. They just have a bad attitude, as far as I'm concerned. Although they have some great players, who I really admire (Scholes, Giggs, Rooney etc), they are blighted with the likes of Ferdinand and Ronaldo (another diving sh1t) who are impossible to really enjoy and they have had such "hateful" players down through the years, like Roy Keane and that twät Cantona      . But, worst of all, are their "fans", who are by and large the most unbelievable bunch of w@nkers, to ever grace the sport.

Asking for Benitez to be sacked is ridiculous however asking the question - Why has he not learnt how to break down lesser teams (especially at home) ?  The stats for possession midway through the first half were Liverpool 85% West Ham 15% - christ sake I cannot remember ever seen such numbers like that before, yet we did not have one shot on goal.  Our main striker, Keane, had 5 touches by half time - 5 fcuking touches.   There is something wrong there.  Most of the time we played between our own D and West Hams - no penetrating runs down the middle or down the flanks - just speculative long range passes that just fizzled out to nothing.
Yes it is good to see us top of the league - and is a decent sign that despite not playing well we are up there - however asking the team to play a bit more creative should not be construed as being anti-Rafa or anti-Liverpool.

objectively the supporters getting on the teams back is going to be bad for morale. Throw on top of that the fact that what was once the greatest crowd in football are booing the players off the pitch and slating every memeber of the team that isnt awesome on football manager 09 can you really blame the players for not getting up for home matches? And as for saying that LFC dont play great football just look at the performances at Goodison and the Eastlands which were every bit as good as anything those other sides have dished out this year.

However, players should realize thats its a 2 way street. They need to give the fans something to cheer about and the last 2 performances have definately not been up to the standards of LFC. Its probably a confidence thing, and the effect of arguably our best player being constantly injured and reinjured and therefore not forming a proper partnership up front - and give the midfielders and wingers something to aim at and create more clear cut chances which makes the side look more fluent and win ore games.

Arsenal play lovely football, but are winning fuc.k all.

United are the yardstick - of that there is no doubt, but they are not always elegant or pleasing on the eye, in fact, they won a fair few leagues off teh back of playing ugly winning football.

Chelsea have played dire football under Mourinho and Grant, but it was effective. This season, as they have played more expansively they have lost twice at home in the space of a month after not losing a game there for four years.

Do you see any pattern emerging ?

We are playing far too predictably with very little variation in tactics despite what some stats might say and that is totally down to Rafa and his coaching staff not having the knowledge or imagination to try new things, it's not good enough, we should have a healthy lead at the top of the table now instead of 1 point and Manure closing in on us fast.

If I give you a big, fat knife, will you slit your own throat?

Lando, can you tell me what's wrong with Heimdall's post?

I can't see much wrong with it.

I agree with the bit I bolded.

Is this not a PM ?

If its not then its an attempt to sh.it stir- so knock it in the head or send a PM.

Nice Swan.

With all due respect, mate, the table says otherwise.  There is absolutely a Big Four and it shouldn't need pointing out to Liverpool supporters that we're in it.  Beggars belief on here sometimes. :no

Is this place for real , honest to god , i'm ashamed . Not of the players and not of the manager ., but the so called support .

Today i thought for the first time ,just for a second " i wish we would go into administration ". So we can lose points , stay in our stadium and maybe even get relegated .  Go back to having a fan ,player and manager affinity. Go back to what used to set us apart from the rest , and go back to the Liverpool way .  I feckin hate myself for thinking that way , but i hate our so called supporters more . Winning things scares the sh!t out of me now , because of the way our support is going /has gone . Sad sad times.

If you look at the league standings since Rafa came then its
plain to see there is no such gulf between us and Arsenal.

A gulf between Chelsea/Man U and us in the league is more "undeniable".

You seem to be a closet WUM.
