Well why doesn't Rafa go and sign a big target man who plays with his back to goal as an option?
cause maybe he doesnt want that option as has only just got rid of a target man as such .
No one is saying babel is ouotstadning and world class extra but he is nowhere near as bad as you make out and keeps contributed to the team pretty much the majority on the time - just look at two important games (mancs and Cl Quali)we have had this season and which two players have come up with the goods for us ? gerrard and torres no the much insulted and slagged off and aligned Kuyt and Babel - CL babel creating fro kuyt to score the winner and the manc game kuyt creating for babel to score the winner - so in my eyes and maybe other peoples eyes they are both contributing massivley to our season so far .
Lad, they play 40 odd games a season, I'd hope for £50,000 a week they could contribute a couple of times a season. The fact is, neither of those players are good enough.
Kuyt is decent as backup thats it.
I'm sick of the excuses to be honest. Kids making up daft excuses about how players can't control and pass because they're in a different country.
People bang on about the odd goal here and there and the odd assist. The fact is, these are the people who don't understand footy properly. It drives me

The amount of moves that break down with these two players is absoloutely rediculous. Moves that could lead to goals with better players.
Goals are scored by a sequence of events, good players do good things at good times that lead to goals and defenders making mistakes. When players keep giving the ball away, as these two do then moves break down, it affects confidence, cohession and pressure on the other team. When that sequence of events is interupted by people like Kuyt and Babel giving the ball away needlessly then it becomes annoying.
Liverpool will never win a title with either of those players in the first 11. Simple as that.
