Carragher is ok as a second defender to a top class one. We'd get away with him due to his nature, professionalism and attitude, he is not however a top player. He was never as bad as made out when he first got in the team and now he's never as good as he's made out by our fans. The truths' always been bang smack in the middle.

scholes is past it , evra is decent , neville hasnt pkayed for nearly two years and berbatov may well prove to be a big fish in a small pond

Anderson and berbatov have not proven themselves yet . Scholes is ageing and has been pretty much this season so far , not particularly outstanding last season . Nani is inconsistent like anderson !!

Sami Hyypia is still probably the best centre half at the club and is at least two years past his best. A shadow of the player he was years ago.

Which says everything you need to know about our defence.
