How surprising (insert sarcasm smilie here)that Gerrard got dogs abuse for allowing his autobiography to be in that paper , yet no one seems to care because its Carra !

I think it would be a great idea Nanny, while time has past Dalglish by to ever become our manager again, I think as a director of football, perhaps taking over part of Parry's job would be a great step forward.

Saint, I'm very surprised and a little disappointed that Carra has allowed this rag to print parts of his book. I think any Liverpool player allowing themselves to be involved in anyway with the *** and the Screws of the World is risking the wrath of the fans and damaging their reputation.

As for bringing Kenny in I can see it being a good idea on paper but I think it would have to be done with the full consent of Rafa (or whoever the manager is at the time) so that we don't see peoples feathers being ruffled by it and a clear job description being out in the open.
If he were to be a link between the management of the team and the management of the business we may just be able to see an end to these embarrassing and pathetic public spats.

Of course option B would be for Twit 'n Twat to fuck off out of Liverpool FC for good, and to take Coco with them!!  :buttrock

Which Premier League club will be next? A rumour regarding a Saudi bid for Manchester United was dismissed as “complete nonsense” by a spokesman for the Glazer family. Gulf interest in England’s biggest club can be gauged, however, by the opening of a United soccer school in Dubai and last month’s £10m sponsorship deal with a Saudi telecom company. In January, Sir Alex Ferguson took his first team to Riyadh for a testimonial that put £1m into the club coffers.

United remain the region’s most popular overseas team, followed by Liverpool

All I could find Ciggy, wouldn't surprise me though. They have the ground, they have the players, they just seem to be starting to struggle to find the fans.

I heard about it the other day, but its starting to have legs now.

Abu Dhabi: the Sheikh's real goal

For Manchester City’s fans the glee is unrestrained. Noel Gallagher, the Oasis songwriter and a lifelong fan of the club, said that for all the talk of an unlikely signing of Ronaldo and winning the league title, there was one aspect of the deal that was particularly sweet.

“It’ll be nice to know that every gallon of petrol that a Manchester United fan buys is going into our transfer kitty,” he said.

The only thing that could put a damper on such gloating would be if the gossip circulating this weekend proves to be true. The American owners of Manchester United, so the rumours go, will soon receive an offer to buy the club that they cannot refuse – from the Dubai royal family.

I agree, this is all getting silly now, first we had the Americans buying the clubs, now the Arabs, I guess it will all end up being Chinese or Indian clubs in the end.  :D

Oh for :censored: sake this is just terrible if true. Where is lakes?

The thing that gets me though is that if DIC can make a bid too good to refuse for Utd that figure should surley eclpse the 500Mil required for LFC and isnt the Sheikh meant to be an LFC fan? So if they an afford that then why cant they afford us?

What happend with all that talk of talks being under way. And didnt they also say recently they are only interested in us and again recently that they remain interested in us?

Football is now alienating the fans.Without fans there,s no football. When we the fans turn our backs on the game.Which will happen,we will be left with a entertainment industry. It will be like going the cinema pick what you want to watch.IE. Favorite actor,s replaced by favorite players. It,s over folks football is no longer a sport.I am losing faith fast. What a :censored: circus this has become.Cheatski started this.God knows who will end it :buttrock

From Shankly to Brendan we follow our team, Rome to Istanbul we've all lived the dream. Our journey is long, our goal stays the same, to keep for our children the famous red name.

but it all comes down to what they value Liverpool at.  Remember this guys want to make money and are not going to pay over the odds just cos they are supporters.

The sheikh is a LFC fan and has stated more than once that he`s only interested in buying us, add to that he`s a man who always gets what he wants and i dont think we`ve got anything to worry about.
Papers are running out of "who`s next" storys so now there just making them up.
The fact that neither side (H&G and DIC) are talking to the press has to be a good thing, its shows somethings going on IMO, i mean come on as soon as they said that the stadium plans are on hold they might as well of said we`re skint, there is no chance the banks are going to keep lending them more and more money every season and their not stupid enough to watch there "investment" shrink, which it will if they stick around.
Dont judge a book by the cover, unless you cover just another, because blind exceptance is a sign,
Of stupid fools who stand in line......  Like..

Agreed mate, the banks will look at the lack of stadium and think we cant lend them money, the pairs position is unsustainable now even if they are stubbirn about selling, as money talks and they will be forced to sell on by the banks.

DIC look like they have a proper plan in place, even if they sell on in 7-8 years which they said they will do atleast we will be in a position to sustain ourselves financially with a new stadium and hopefully new found success!

I am sorry to be the vessell of doom, however, UNTIL Hicks & Gillette fail to meet interest/capital repayments then there is not much chance of the banks pulling the plug.

Think about it it we're LFC and there is serious money coming into the Premier league.

Why would RBS pull the plug when they are making so much money and there outlay is cast iron guaranteed safe....

As much as my heart tells me we will be ok my head says different.

Moores & Parry rot in hell for what you have done to our fabulous club.

I'm writing this with tears in my eyes as I for one hate to see what those two fat, stupid, Yankee Tw@ts have allowed to happen over the last 12 months.
