Can't complain with that post

Though, I've been hearing a bit of rumors in my world a bit, expect real development in a couple of months.

Pity it wasn't a couple of months ago, we might have got a few better players in the transfer window with DIC holding the purse strings. Shouldn't really be worrying about little things like that though, the main thing is to get those two out of our club.

I think these multi billionares taking over Man City could work in our favour.maybe G&H will realise that they simply dont have the finances to compete in the EPL!
Hopefully they get a wake up call from it all and understand that although they are bunch of arrogant kunts with assets as opposed to cash they are small fry considering what else is out there in terms of wealth!

The fact they cant get the lone to finance the new stadium is another severe boot in their balls. The credit crunch and rise in interest on loans may work in our favour too though!
Hopefully what Lynds mentioned is true and Sheik Mo can smell that its the beginning of the end for these two and make them an offer they cant refuse!
I also think their will be more clubs bought over pretty soon, these mega minted business people are'nt buying teams for nothing, there must be a profit in it somewhere if they are willing to invest first!

If we get stuck with these two long term I dread to think where we will be in 5 or 10 years time, half the League will be owned by the richest men in the world by then the way things are going!
We would be fu'cked!

My clubs bigger than yours so there.

http://blogs.guardian.co.uk/sport....pu.html

Since the country's creation in 1971 - a move driven by Sheikh Khalifa's father, the revered late Sheikh Zayed - Dubai and Abu Dhabi have competed against each other for the world's affections, a rivalry that has gone into overdrive since the turn of the century.

When Dubai built its own seven-star hotel, the Burj Al Arab, Abu Dhabi responded with its own, the Emirates Palace. When Dubai embarked on huge, glamorous construction projects that stole headlines across the world, Abu Dhabi followed suit with plans to build a Guggenheim and a Louvre. Even sporting events have witnessed this economic one-upmanship, with Abu Dhabi setting up a rival to Dubai's PGA tour golf event and tennis tournament.

From the outside, it appeared that Abu Dhabi resented the success of its glamorous neighbour. Dubai's royal family had been so successful in branding the emirate that many assumed that it, and not Abu Dhabi, was the capital of the UAE.

So when DIC, itself an investment arm of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum's sovereign fund, tried and failed to buy a Premier League club, Abu Dhabi just had to keep up with the Joneses. Well, the Maktoums.

Buying Man City is as much about putting Abu Dhabi's flag in the sand. The emirate wants to be a global sports hub, and there's no better way of fast-tracking that than buying one of the grande dames of English football.

It is also ample evidence that the world's financial power base is shifting eastwards. But more importantly than that, the capture of Man City gets one over on Abu Dhabi's glamorous neighbours over their Eastern border. And that, they will conclude, is worth any price.
There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

I know it sounds like groundhog day again, but them buying City could work in our favour.

Plus they have cancelled the new stadium and have no money for transfers its end game time for them to give it up.

No one will lend them any more money so its best if they stop wasting everyones time and their own and just sell and go.

You would think so mate, when you hear the city owners talking about investing an "unlimited amout of money" to get them to the top of the league well, how much longer have we got in the top four?
You would of course hope Arsenal drop out first, but then the other thought is how much cheaper would we be if we wasnt a CL side?
But then if they/he is a fan(s) you would think they would act now and if they do wait it will most likely cost them more on the player investment side.
So swings, round abouts and Chinese whispers. All i know for fact is right now our future doesnt look to bright. :(
