But its not about balancing books its about being able to bring in players who can improve us, players like Keane and Barry. Can you not see these potencial signings isnt just " wheeling and dealing" as we would be lucky to get half of the fee back in a few seasons due to their age, like Masch, Torres, Skrtel, Agger, Reina, Babbel maybe Dossena their being brought in ( hopefully ) to help us challenge for the prem.

Dunno what Kewells missus is so happy about anyway! Wait till bump grows into something with a personality..theres no way it will go to playgroup or school,it will always be too sick or injured if it takes after the father!!

I don't see the problem with Arbeloa leaving...he's an average squad player at best and hardly world class. In fact, i would be tempted to give Carra a season at RB and use Agger and Skrtel as our CB pair. Obviously we could rotate RB but Carra looked the business there for us last season.
