Good post mate, well found.  Interesting that the approach came from DIC and has not been dragged out of them by G&H.

Take it ffs, take it.  :buttrock

PS Edit: Theres still nothing of it on the newswires so dont know whether its a wind up?

They have to sell.

Gicks may have said that his relationships with Hicks is improving, but it's frightfully obvious that the partnership is as stable as the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact, and they don't have a pot to :censored: in,

Sell the club to the Dubai people, then go buy Crystal Palace from that bleached blonde, fake tanned wideboy, or some other shytty team.

Hicks and Gicks say the new stadium will be ready for about 2010

But it's already 2008.

It's taken over two years just to build a plastic roof over Centre Court at Wimbledon.

Funnily enough Saint, I found out a couple of hours ago that letters have been issued from the club to all parking permit holders at Stanley Park that they will not be able to park there with effect from the 2008 - 2009 season due to construction beginning on the new stadium in August.

Park and Ride facilities are already in place at Sandhills and have been extended to Pall Mall in the city centre to help cope with the 900+ cars that have to be deflected from the current Stanley Park parking site.

Other car parks in the Anfield area have already been booked for the coming season for Anfield employees etc.

I'm sure I will get 'source?' thrown at me - i'd rather not reveal, but I will say I certainly can't be ar$ed or am sad enough to make something up just to get a reaction on a forum!

eh-ar Reg, told ya so!

Hicks and Gillett's plan is basically to hope that they strike oil in Stanley Park while building the foundations of the new stadium.

Therefore, the billions they'll make through petroleum export will cover their debts.

The painful truth nanny is that even a small club like Everton are being run more professionally than our beloved LFC.

If H&G cant refinance then the banks will call them in default and take possession of the club.

Obviously before that happens H&G will have a Plan B to restructure the club meaning shelving the new stadium all together (which should effectively solve the liquidity problem) or facing facts and having to sell a % to DIC or whoever if they are still interested.

Just allowing the situation to dribble on though solves nowt.

Plan B Reg they never even had plan A Im prayin noone gives them a penny i wanna see them squeam. I wanna see them go beggin to  Dic

Shiiiiit. Rafa just denied accusations asking for big money for transfers. He won't even try to talk to the owners directly.
