Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Wow lots of conspiracy theories on this thread and I don't believe in any of them.
I genuinly think that Gillett and Hicks hate each other, playing a game serves no benefit in fact it will just make the banks very nervous about the money they loaned them. If they want a higher price from DIC then it would be much better to sit down together at the negotiating table and offer a united front.
In any case I am absolutely certain that thsi will be solved one way or the other before long, I can't reveal how I know this but I have it on very good authority blah blah blah  :shifty

I dont really understand the guys that wanted to buy the club with fans all chipping in,nice idea in a perfect world but in reality we dont live in a perfect world!

Surely it would be cheaper to just pay a hitman to execute the both of them!
That guy out of Leon would do it for a few grand and a crate of milk! :;):

Thats got to be the most stupid post ever.
Leon is a made up character.
Like Ghandi. I mean if your going to post something get your facts right !

Price of milk has gone up, he can buy his own the greedy get !
CASH ONLY !

Like Ghandhi?

Is that a joke that i didnt get?

Anyway it looks like Gillette cant sell but Hicks doesnt have the money to buy. And im sure with this sort of money involved both are happy to wait the situation out. So we are :censored: yes?

Hello fellas, this is my first post of hopefully many

I'm from New York, and I've had a love for Liverpool ever since i learned the goalie shared my last name (Dudek, and I'm also a goalie... it seemed like fate)

I don't want to brag, but the quality of soccer or football in the United States is drastically improving and i feel Liverpool, the greatest team in english football history should buy the greatest american on the market right now, jozy altidore.

he has already proven his worth in terms of national football, during the U-20 World Cup in Canada last summer he dominated the field with several impressive performances including a wonder game against the brazilians.  He is now being featured in the senior team and showed his worth against Mexico, maybe the only north american team that has credibility to Europe.  I'm involved in the premier soccer world in america and have actually had the privilege of playing against him and his old premier team, schulz academy.  He was absolutely phenomenal, he scored 2 ridiculous goals on me (but i can say that i kept him in check... minimuly :) )  He really is the future of American soccer and is already being looked at by mid-table EPL teams.

I really feel that he is one for the future, having shockingly similar attributes as Ryan Babel.  He is VERY good and if Liverpool can develop him further, then he absolutely can become a very important player for Liverpool

Thanks for reading

Hopefully coming sooner rather than later Nanny. We really need to get this sorted soon. I was reading the other day that the next big hurdle for Hicks is in September when he has to prove that the funds are available to receive the stadium grants.

Being a cynic, thats probably why he said they would start work on the stadium in August :D

He meant the Airfix 1:250 scale model of the new stadium.

It's one of those models you can just snap together.

No glue required, and it even comes pre-painted.

I was trying to be humorous but failed miserably. I think it was on only fools and horses where he didnt like the ghandi movies ! Anyway, Tried to lighten the mood....failed miserably.
