I feel absolutely gutted for David Moores :(  That interview with the Echo is heart breaking.

I feel gutted as a fan. Moores should have done his homework. It goes to show you, just bacause you inherit money does not make you a good businessman. Hicks's past dealings are all out there to be researched, why did he not do it. They made a deal with DIC and then went for more money.  Moores made enough extra on the deal that we should not feel sorry for him. Moores is no victim, the fans are the victims.

I am wear that Barry had made some bad mistakes, but somehow he deserve the fans support for now, in order to get the club out of Hick's claws for ever. The timing of this new saga is wrong, and the LFC ownership must be sorted out just as the season ends, and the Liverpool supporters Club are really should pursuit with their new scheme of obtaining the club ownership through the supporters shares ownership, or put a huge pressure on Yankee sharks to force them to sell their ownership shares to new owners who is prepared to care about LFC interest.

I feel sorry for both Moores and Parry. They are both retards though.

This is the time for us supporters to start showing our true worth and as soon as we have secured fourth place we need to start boyocotting games etc.

Moore's must be shell shocked but he should also explain why did he not go forward with the deal with DIC.  It couldnt just of been about gaining more money personally.  What made him think the Yanks would be better than DIC for the club?  He must of known that in terms of pure wealth DIC had more and they were making all the right noises about the stadium, transfer funds etc.

I don't feel sorry for Moores. In fact i blame him for the mess the club is in right now. He sold the club to the worst possible people. Even Thaksin Shinawatra would have been better. He could have easily sold the club to DIC. Anyone whos ever been to Dubia will tell you they strive to be the best at whatever they do even if it is business. What did Moores do? Refuse to work to they're deadlines stating that he "wouldn't allow this club to be bullied".

Anfield's civil war over Stanley Park

Stanley Park, the site of Liverpool's new stadium, has become the most significant battleground in the American Civil War between owners George Gillett and Tom Hicks.

The Hicks letter demanding chief executive Rick Parry's resignation follows Gillett, his son Foster and Parry confronting commercial director Ian Ayre about his presentations on the Stanley Park blueprint being part of Hicks' failed road show to raise money in London.

The Gillett camp believe Hicks should not have used the Liverpool ground as a lever for his own ambitions, while it is understood Ayre, who was appointed by both Americans, told them he was under orders from Hicks and would do exactly the same for Gillett if asked.

Meanwhile, it won't please manager Rafa Benitez, who was unhappy to be mentioned in the resignation letter to Parry regarding transfer deals, that Hicks' people are still in contact with Jurgen Klinsmann, who was sounded out to replace Benitez earlier in the season.

over here in Singapore, on one of the ESPN programs hosted by John Dykes (I don't know if you guys know him but he's quite good) , he talks to this other guy (I've forgotten his name) who always acts as the local news (from England) provider (he always pulls up various newspapers on the show and talks about them) and that guy said that according to his knowledge, Hicks is the one that favours Rafa and that one of Hick's basis for asking Parry to resign is based on Parry screwing up Rafa's requested transfers... and that apparently Rafa's outburst of "I'm concentrated on coaching my team" last year was directed mainly at Parry because Parry was the one that told Benitez to just focus on coaching... and what's more according to that guy, there has been reports that Hicks has managed to secure the finances to buy out Gillett's share and that is the reason why Hicks is being so confrontational in asking Parry to resign...

I think it's pure speculation... but what do you guys hear about this? might there be any truth in it? it seems like rafa's being pulled in the cross-fire by Hicks...

I wouldn't take anything as :censored: anymore Igor. Nothing surprises me with these two anymore.
1) You'll Never Walk Alone
2) pass and move is the Liverpool groove
3) FIRST WILL ALWAYS BE FIRST AND SECOND WILL ALWAYS BE NOTHING.
4) If Torres has scored 60 league goals for Liverpool by the start of the 2011/12 season, I'll say he's better than Owen.
