looks like i might get my season ticket back next year then, with all you lot saying your not going to the games there should be a few left over.

Unfortunately football is based on winning games and acquiring points. Teams don't qualify for the Champions League based on how well you support them when they lose or draw.

But there is a real danger that if G&H stay in control everything that really makes us LFC will be gone , and there wont be an LFC as we know it now
You move on and let those who don't want to watch while rome burns do somthing

Then go to Anfield with your dumb "We Want DIC" banner while the other 44,000 fans get on with the business of cheering on the team.

I gave it up due to work ( i do live 200 miles away) work were not happy with me taking long weekends and knocking off at 11am on midweek games lol.
It seemed unfair that i was taking up a place at the ground that some other fan could use.

It is a good thing Dallas Stars owner Tom Hicks is a billionaire. Otherwise, he might not survive the mess he has made of the Dallas franchise. The team, which owns 50% of American Airlines Center, is saddled with $200 million in debt (the team's holding company, Southwest Sports, defaulted on $135 million of debt four years ago), a high payroll, and an under-performing team that can't make it past the first round of the playoffs. The natives have clearly gotten restless, illustrated by sagging ticket sales and waning interest in the Dallas market for the Stars. In the face of this Hicks has actually increased the team's marketing staff to boost ticket sales. What he really needs is a better product.

Manhattan is right, after todays announcement any campaign to get them out will fail, we`ll just have to hope DIC are still interested and are trying to do a deal.

The irony is of course that the very best way of convincing the owners that in fact we aren't such a sh!t hot "business model" would be for the team to continue it's bliiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiip for a few more weeks and us fail to qualify for the Champions League. Defeat against Inter (which given our current form would hardly be the biggest shock in the World lets be honest) and not winning the FA Cup will put a bit of a dent in the old financial projections that's for sure.

I'm not of course suggesting that we throw games, I'm merely pointing out that assuming we are going to get the Champions League revenue every season is it seems to me a very dangerous way to finance a business. Fail once and have to balance the books accordingly and we may not make it next time, such is the importance of transfer money.

I've said a couple of times that I have a feeling that the owners will oust Rafa at the first window of opportunity. My suspicion is that given our current way of doing things, that window will come at the end of this season. I've also said that if I was a betting man, I'd bet they'll try and get Mourinho as their next manager. Say for instance though that not for the first time, I'm talking utter b0ll0cks. Say we finish fifth, and Mourinho takes over not at Liverpool but replaces Riijkjaard at Barcelona. Usually at clubs such as that, the new manager will make a major signing to kick-start his tenure. Can't see it being a striker when they've got the talent which they have, maybe it'll be a central midfielder who gets on really well with a star player of his, one who he has long admired. 35 mill for Gerrard would kill two birds with one stone, and these two muppets would sanction the deal if they needed the cash, I'm fecking sure of it.

People can talk about rotation, Rafa style, the genius of winnign the league in Spain all they like, but take Gerrard out of our side right now and we wouldn't finish top six never mind top four. So long as they got their money though, they wouldn't give a t0ss.

In one statement you cry out "just support RAFA and the team" in the next you say "the fans cheer for RAFA ....and we draw" you contradict your self at every turn.

The yanks out is old news now. We have a new stadium on the way, Rafa will be given cash in the summer and we have to finish 4th this season so we can only support the team and manager now. Enough with this yanks out :censored:

How is that possible? According to recent news reports, 80%+ of LFC fans want G/H out. So with such numbers you should be more than capable of putting a campaign together.

So where is this campaign?

Rafa has more than enough quality players to at least get fourth place, if not to win the Premiership. But we are struggling to accomplish even that. "Support Rafa" means the owners should not undermine him publically. I've already criticised the "Klinsmann" nonsense. But I'm sick and tired of fans chanting for Rafa and getting very little back in return.

You see nothing. They get enough support and cannot finish off teams like Wigan. There's no excuse for that. The point I was making is that they must WIN in order to gain points and qualify for the Champions League. If they give away stupid goals and fail to take their chances, they fall further behind. Gillett and Hicks did not let Titus Bramble score an equaliser.
