Dubai International Capital are thought to be looking at another club, this time in the North East.

going to be dark days

Well Sunderland are owned by Quinn, unlikely he will sell and Mike Ashley is a Newcastle fan and he wont sell up, so that leaves Middlesbrough. I dont think so, they could have a bigger club than that.

I just think its the BBC making up these rumours, I mean FFS the story was only broke 15 minutes ago and already they are telling us they wont bid for the club and they are after another.

I think fan power will eventually prevail, and I do think DIC will eventually own LFC. They remained interested for over a year, I think they will wait.

to be fair to the bbc they did report on the radio at 8pm that DIC was not going to buy Liverpool.

I'm still not convinced, I still think DIC will buy G&H out. They have lost the support of the most important people at a football club - the fans. They will be driven out IMO unless they back Rafa and give him money to spend.

I can still see Hick selling his 50%. he has a stronger hand now and can ask for more.

Its called ransom. We missed the Dubai boat last year. (thanks to Moores) We now realise we have owners without money and a sackful of debt. Wonderful times...the Mancs must be p i ssing themselves at the situation were in.

Yep but at least the Glaziers know they have to spend their money to keep up with the best. our clowns dont even want to do that, there agenda is a little different and their methods a little different as well. (Plus they bought the biggest club n britain (I hate saying that btw) at the time so it was a safer bet for them)
m only worried about Liverpool Football Club and I think this i the worst we have had it in quite a while.

(Am I the only one that puts the blame so much on David Moores btw?)

While this situation stinks it should be remember that a lot of fans were baying for foreign ownership so we could compete with souless entitys that are MUFC and Chelsea
There was always a risk and it look like we are going to pay for it now

You are right Laza but they are no abramovich's and Man U already had a stadium getting over 1 million a game.

We are no better off under these two pretenders than we where under Moores.

You know if Moores would have got a 350 million loan on the club today I would not have bat an eye lid.

I just dont trust these two as far as I could throw them.

Its still not on the offal Redman  :)

I am being told DIC are not out the picture just yet and negociations are still on going but G & H hold all the cards so it all depends on them now.

But DIC wont pay 1 billion and that is what Hicks thinks LFC is worth  :no
