Wait for it, if we drop points against newcastle, the england game (or the ref) will be to blame.

couldnt have put it better myself

I don't think Rafa wants to keep "throwing money at it" but wants to sell a few players and bring in a few. Obviously if he has to wait till players are sold before he can buy, then he may miss out on some players that are important to his plans.

I mean don't you think us twiddling our thumbs whilst mascherano is could be snapped up by man city (ffs) is an indication that there are problems between te board and manager? Rafa is being ripped off here the money for last summers signings was a bit late IMO and now there is no communication with him about january money. Don't you think you would be a bit :censored: if you knew you wanted to bring in players and the board say yes we will back you but there is no further communication?

Our CB problems have been spoken about and I hear we have earmarked a player already and upfront there is talk of alves but we are being rivalled by a lot of people who will be ready to go come jan. I mean they haven't sorted out mascherano how is that possible? ??? And muppets like sven are being armed with £150m this transfer window!

Damn yanks better start putting us on top priority we ain't some toy like chelsea.

H & G aren't footy people, so they wont see the football logic here.

As S@int said before, what about Gillette's son? I thought he was here permanently?
Surely he can make certain big decisions.

[H & G aren't footy people, so they wont see the football logic here]

Yet even from a business perspective why would leave absolutely no one back here to keep the lines of communication buzzing? or make decisions? or at least relay problems to you! Even if they are in it for the profit you would think that they realise that one can't leave the ship unmanned? We look like we in stormy seas and the captain is off-duty!

I got the feeling after Rafa's and G+H first meeting together last year that they were excited about Rafa's plans and that they would support him all the way.  And now this has happened.  I can see how this p!ssing Rafa off.

Well said man. As a loyal supporter this kind of thing would scare the hell out of me is I was at the top.Why is it the fans seem to know better than the muppets in suits and ties doing "what is best for the club". Love or hate Benitez I think many would agree that we can't fault him until he has failed with waht he beleives is his best team.

The board need to back the man plain and simple.

IT'S ONLY OURSELPES TO BLAIM.we sold our team to business people the only interest in making money. H e bought us for not another reason apart from the business. and these people hav'nt got the feelings and the passion for our club and this is what is wrong
We've sold ourselves our historic liverpool to these people who have nothing to do with football. I don't know how all this is hoing to finish, but i'm a very very worried man. Leave benitez to one side. Fingers crossed for our future..

Thats bow-locks. LFC could not finance a new stadium or rebuilding the squad so we needed someone with cash to come in and buy the club, finance teh stadium and pump in transfer funds. Rafa now wants them to stump up more - what is this - a commercial football club or a friggin´sweet shop?
What in your innocent world was the alternative?

Quite right. I dont know why the lads here dont face facts: modern football is a business and business has risks and if you invest heavily and dont produce results there has to be responsibility and accountability. Go ask McLaren.

Well if Rafa goes, then as far as I'm concerned Gillette and Hicks can f*ck themselves.
