HALF TIME: BLACKBURN 0 - 0 LIVERPOOL

Defences have been on top at Ewood Park and we've seen no goals in the first half of today's late Premier League kick off.
Liverpool have enjoyed the majority of possession and they came close in the 41st minute when quick feet from Benayoun set up a chance for Babel and he brought a fine save out of Friedel.

Blackburn's best chance came in the 35th minute when David Bentley raced clear and struck the outside of the post with his shot. And they came even closer on the stroke of half time when Dunn's long range effort came back off the crossbar with Reina beaten.
