Looks are nothing to do with it really, especially when you're fetching home a five figure wage packet every week they're not. Anyway, maybe its not just his feet that stick out the bed!

Red she could have any man she wants, she is only with him because he plays for us + his wage packet.
There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

The stick he is getting is unfair, as is all the comments about his attitude and commitment.
Agreed he has looked poor when he has played, but is that his fault ?
I play 5 a side in work in a league every week, sometimes due to shifts i have to miss a game, missing that one game can sometimes make me struggle with my touch (thats maybe a sign that i am not the best player  :D ) I know Crouch will be training every day but its not the same.
A striker is not going to be left out 2 games in a row then come back in and do the business, it just doesnt happen.
Rafa doesnt fancy him anymore plain and simple, i think he would of been happy to have kept him as a fourth choice and an option in some games but its clear to see that Crouch cant do that, he needs games to play well. Due to this Rafa has imo lost patience with him and bombing him out. Its unfair imo as Kuyt seems to be getting far more games without looking any kind of threat.

Crouch was our top scorer overall last season and top in the champions league, we get to the final, we are really struggling to create anything and look knackered and short on ideas in the final third. Crouch is left on the bench, ask yourselves how that would affect your confidence ?
Please dont reply that he is a professional paid to deal with things like that and he should be ready when selected. He is also a human being that was dropped for the biggest game of his career and had to sit and watch us toil and create nothing in a game that was there for the taking, he must of been upset and angry.
To me in that game Rafa showed Peter that he wont be trusted anymore in the big games, if i was Crouch i might also struggle a bit to get motivated and feel like i had a future at the club.

I really feel sorry for the lad, but it looks like Rafa doesnt trust him now, if thats the case then we desperatly need a top striker when the window opens, as due to Rafa mistreating him Crouchs confidence and desire appear to have gone. Not sure why he has been dropped like a stone though.

Couldnt agree more. I think some have been a little harsh on Crouch lately. I dont see how people can suggest things have gone to his head lately.

Crouch has been asked question after question about rotation and his position in the team and he has never dodged the question or suggested that he isnt willing to fight for his place in the team. I think he has taken it all in his stride to be honest. Im pretty sure i wouldnt answer those questions with such dignity if i was in his shoes.

I think we can all agree that he hasnt been at his best of late but im sure his confidence has taken a massive knock since the arrival of Torres and Voronin, the pressure on him to perform is higher than ever.

Given the chance, Crouch will come good again im sure. I just hope its when he's playing in a liverpool shirt.

if players are worried about when other folk come in, then theres something wrong. at this level players should be able to handle that kind of stuff or they should just pack their bags and go.

Easy statement to make, but it wont be the fact that he thinks they are better players than him, more the fact of...well i couldnt get near the team in the Champions league final, since then we have bought in strikers (one world class) where does that leave me ?
The people who are saying he is lucky to be at Liverpool and grasp the opportunity when it comes in...while being right, they are forgetting that the lad is only human and must be really confused as to why Rafa said he wanted to keep him in the summer, then to discard him majorly.

I cant see how anyone wouldnt see or agree that he has been badly treated by the boss.

if its a policy of rafa to rotate, then surely no one can say it affects just crouch, or if crouch feels left out. in fact if he feels negative about it, then perhaps he doesnt have the right mentality for the team right now.

the manager runs the team, not the player

besides the policy affects everyone at lfc, not just crouch. if he gets a grip and focuses positive thoughts, then im sure he can move forward for the benefit of lfc and the fans

judge you have to see the logic behind him not being match fit when called upon, and the fact he has not been given a chance to gel with the other forwards, he has been given much less opportunity than the other forwards this season and that has to affect his play

He hasnt even been getting rotated though judge, he has been virtually bombed out and left out of about 6 squads in premiership matches.
Add that onto the omission from the champions league final (when he was our top scorer), that would to me explain his unhappy demeanor.
Rafa obviously has had enough and due to this we might as well sell (providing we get a replacement) but i think he has been shockingly treated and i am puzzled as to why.

By the way...you do realise you are not in general chat dont you ? :D

Those showering him with praise tell his is a workhorse or whatever..What I know is he is lucky to play for LFC.I still cant believe we sold Bellamy and kept him.

According to fantasypremierleague :-

Voronin - 3 goals in 368 mins (123 mins/goal)
Torres - 4 goals in 586 mins (147 mins/goal)
Crouch - 0 goals in 86 mins (n/a mins/goal)
Kuyt - 0 goals in 474 mins (n/a mins/goal)

Kuyt has two assists, Torres and Voronin one apiece

The fact that Crouch hasn't played in terms of minutes 90 minutes, a complete game, when it comes the premier league is something I didn't see coming at the start of the season.

In fact, I thought Crouch would be used more in games like Birmingham at home, and not in Europe.

I'm not so sure Rafa doesn't rate him, because he never doubted to offload a player if he's not convinced with him! but at the same time, those numbers are quite shocking.

Spot on Ace Ventura in the long post in which he defends Crouch.
