Did you also see that grainy 20 year old fire damaged clip of Voronin edited by his agent ?

No, why does he look good on it ? That just confirms my confidence in his ability if he does  :D

If we can get 12mil for crouch then we have to take it. Torres showed crouch how to play against villa with his heading to Dirk and his abilty to link up quickly without taking 20 touches. We don't need crouch now and should get what money we can for him while he has a reputation in the game.

Crouch is head and shoulders above the rest of the strikers - in physical terms. But seriously he is fifth choice for me and only because there are only five choices! I've already said I'd sell if anyone is fool enough to offer what we paid for him or more, Voronin, Torres, Babel and Kuyt should provide enough firepower and I don't think Crouch will get many games. Last season we didn't score enough goals, hardly cause to give those responsible more chances than the newbies. He's bound to feature against Toulouse unless some CL team has shown interest, rumours he is unhappy at not travelling may be true but that is Rafa's approach same as last season.

If selling Crouch means we can get Quaresmo and/or Mancini then sell sell sell. I've never rated Crouch and I won't until the gangly git learns how to head, first then will he become world class, at the moment he's just not good enough, although if he stays he stays, he's an ok squad player.

I think he has had a bit of a raw deal from Rafa. He has done the job when he has come back into the side, scored goals and still been left out again. I mean last year Crouch was 3rd choice to Kuyt and Bellamy, and still got more goals. He talked to Rafa and was reassured he is a big part of his plans. This season, it seems he'll be 3rd choice to Torres and Kuyt.

You have to admit, its a tough decision between Kuyt and Crouch. In the end I think its Kuyt's style of play that wins Rafa over...because in almost every other facet of the game, including statistics, Crouch edges out Kuyt. Yet Kuyt's style of play SEEMS to indicate a higher workrate, more shots on goal, and most importantly the pressure he puts on opposing defences to make sloppy clearances or turn over posession (which I think is very high on Rafa's list for striker must do's).

Although I have to say, if Crouch again plays 2nd fiddle to the Kuyt-Torres partnership, and Kuyt nets under 15 goals in another trophy-less season, I'll be criticising Rafa, not Kuyt.

Kuyt needs to be much more selfish, stop chasing lost causes passed off as "hard work" and start getting into scoring positions. Torres may have the opposite problem, trying to do it all himself and not playing as part of the team. The hard work ethic is all very great but I want goals from strikers not hard work, good touches and all the other unquantifiable assets people attribute to strikers who don't score enough goals!

I just have not seen anything to convince me DK has what it takes to be a top player for Liverpool. When Tevez was not scoring for West ham he still had moments were you see the class the player poseses. I have not seen that moment with DK the moment were you can say wow he has that in his locker. But the only thing i have seen is his abilty to work hard wich will take him so far but the time will come when the fans and the manager will whant more.

i like DK but tend to agree with the comments, when i watched torres against portsmouth there was moments during the game where you thought this lad is special. Dk doesn't have that.

For me once things settle down voronin will partner torres up front. Voronin has the same work rate as DK but has that little something extra, gives the impression that he'll make something happen.

And we need that because that's what we've lacked since the day of ROBBIE THE GoD was in full flow

No matter how many times people are told they just DO NOT listen.

Rafa wants four (or five) strikers each scoring 10-15 goals and NOT two stikers each scoring 20 - FACT

Crouch has proven his ability, both in the Premiership and europe - FACT

Crouch could have been sold for good money in the summer but Rafa sat him down and told him he was in his plans - FACT

Yet on the very first occasion that one of the strikers is left out they start writing stories of links to moves and unrest. You would expect it from the lazy bas.tard journalists but not from members of Liverpool Forums.

No? Only that his first premiership year is better then Drogba's was. That in his first year he was clubscorer.
Ah well...some people just always wanna...

And judging people on how they look.
Lol you think AC Milan is bothered Inzaghi moves like a hork and can't really play football like Ronaldinho?
He is important for Milan (as we could see in the CL final).

We can't let Crouch go, he can be so effective in games and it was only a few months ago he scored the perfect hatrick against Arsenal, he's proven in the premier and will get us around 15 league goals this year, it would be 20+ IMO if he started every game but that looks even more unlikely now.

crouch is a brilliant player to have in the squad because he offers things that not many strikers in the world can
hes a massive aerial threat and has great feet, rafa loves his options and being able to change the way the team plays from game to game or even during a game
crouchie gives us this choice
and he clearly isnt going anywhere judging from the comments from him and rafa
