oh shuddup.

go find another fowler thread...

Mascherano is quality, in answer to the thread. Also in answer, fowler in his goals per games ratio is pointless. He is not playing as he doesnt suit rafas style.

Mascher will be with us for a while im hoping, he definately adds something to the game

It was said tongue in cheek, do you really think I'm arsed what someone on an internet forum calls me? Even more so do you think I'm arsed enough to complain about it?

You have to the most unfunny person on these boards. I don't understand why you try to act like a comedian, certain people like Woof, Judge, Woolyback even and one or two others get the odd smile... they have a sense of humour...

You just.... well.... don't.... basically. :sleep

Anyway, can't be arsed with all that, said what needed to be said... Back to Mascherano... and believe it or not I actually agree the lads quality and the comparrison with Didi Hamann is a VERY very good, fair and accurate one. Slightly different as he's more mobile and skillfull than Hamann was, while not being as clever or as good with short passes he can spot a longer pass.

I think his signing could see Benitez leaning towards the 4-5-1/4-3-3/4-2-3-1 or whatever the :censored: you want to call it...

In Mascherano and Alonso he has two very very good holding players.

Come on guys, my insult to Stu was said tongue in cheek.  He got it straight away.  There'll be no complaining going on.

A little misunderstanding here, just lets get back to the thread...

I said Roobie is capable of that and I think anyone who actually knows the game within the forum at least would go along with that... especially considering the facts below:

Fowler has 12 goals since returning to Liverpool in 32 appearances.

He's started 17 games for Liverpool since his return making 15 sub appearances. Quite a few of which have been for the remaining 10 minutes.

He also has by a mile the best goals to minutes ratio of any of the Liverpool strikers with the exception of Crouch who is again allowed more games to play himself into form.

He's never been allowed to play himself into form and he's not played consistently to gain sharpness and confidence.

He's also played with alot of second string players when he has played.

He's got three goals less than Kuyt and two less than Bellamy who's have both started AT LEAST FOUR TIMES the amount of games Robbie has. They've also had consecutive games to play themselves into form and gain sharpness.

However, you still fail to acknowledge how completely and utterly wrong you are and were and continue to look the complete tool you are everytime you even attempted to respond. :D

Now as I was saying... FOWLERRRRRRRR!!!!

bottom line stu

how many of those goals are from the pen spot? ???  ???

He's not good enough and thats why he can't get into the team.  He STILL cannot play 90 mins and he will be given a free transfer at the end of season....because he's not the same player and hasn't been for years.

Mascherano has been a great addition for us!TBH now i feel Sissoko will play only a bit part role from here on.Im sure he will get a few games here and there but Masch is by far superior to him in every department.

I know he's only played a few games but to think how hes fitted in so quick and played so well after being a spectator for so long at West Ham and then playing in reserves is a sign of a quality quality player.
I just hope this lone deal can become permanent as soon as possible!
Diego Maradonna has described as having special things ahead of him, sounds good coming from a one time genius.

Im sure we will see a lot more of what Masch can do before the end of the season. Its great to think also that he will probably get better.22 years old and 20 caps for Argentina speaks volumes...Well done Raffa!

I think signing Mascherano will prove to be a great signing especially if the rumours about Tevez are true. A great player that adds not only to the squad but to the capabilities of the first team. As for Fowler, I honestly believe if Kewell had played this season, Robbie would have played much more and all the doubts would have vanished with his rising goals total.

Look, saint, the fact is only the Idiots doubt Robbie Fowler. Every poster on here with real football knowledge, Igor Zidane, Scottbot, Ace Ventrua, Mick can all see what the lads got... Basically the ones who know what they are talking about.

And the ones that don't... Not mentioning any names... are the ones who can't see what he brings. Simple as that.
