Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

I really wish momo was fit for this one, its going to be a hell of a battle and we need 100% of each and every player. they are going to be bombarding our goal with crosses and reina has looked a bit nervy last few games. we need to improve  on our marking in the box and it is vital we not only compete but win the second balls especially when they are dropping around the edge of the box. anelka will be looking to put in a "see what you missed performance" as will diouf with that in mind its a game where players such as gonzo, pennant and garcia ( depending on the line up ) do not go hiding ! If we can do all these things and not get to involved in a kicking match then our football will see us collect 3 points and leapfrog the "pub team " into 3rd place

We should go into this match full of confidence after a hard fought but excellent victory ar Spurs.

Bolton are a terrific team at home but this is a game Liverpool should be winning at Anfield.

Everyone should be looking to exact revenge on a team that has done us over on several occasions. This is our chance to get into Bolton and send them home on the back of a hiding.

I'm wishing for good weather since the only way Bolton can play is to play dirty and a wet field which makes it harder to control the ball will just help their way of play.

Huge, huge game. I fancy us to win, but Bolton are a better footballing side than we've seen over the last few seasons. Anelka, Campo and Diouf will all be dangerous, and unless we put chances away clinically, they could well turn us over again.

Big Sam: Me and Rafa don't get on
  sky sports

Sam Allardyce has admitted he does not get on with Rafa Benitez as he prepares to come face-to-face with the Spaniard.

Bolton travel to Anfield on New Year's Day looking to continue their fine run of form and keep up their bid to finish in the top four.

Allardyce and Benitez have not seen eye-to-eye in the past over the Spaniard's criticism of Bolton's tactics.

There is sure to be no love lost between the sides on Monday and Allardyce has demanded respect from the former Valencia chief.

"I respect Rafa for his professionalism and for what he did at Valencia," said Allardyce.

"I respect him for winning the Champions League in his first season at Liverpool.

"But do we get on? No, not particularly.

"Does it really matter? You can't get on anyway because you only see each other for five minutes at a game.

"It's not like it used to be. If both managers want to share a drink after the game they can.

"If they don't - they don't."

Come on REDS - ram this down the fat bagpuss' eds throat!!

I hate everything about them that tw@t that runs up and down the line with the banner I feel good along with the music when they score is embarressing.
Ale house, sh.it house team and manager, its a must that we take 3 points off these b@stards tommorrow and shut that fat butcher face right up imagine how europe would view the prem if they where in the CL it doesnt bare thinking about.
Destroy them Liverpool please.

100% agree i would have my list of hated teams looking something like Mancs, bitters, Chelski, Bolton. I hate the way they play and i hate their players. The way they beat us at the start of the season was by getting possibly one of the worse f*cking linesmans decissions of all time, after that they could just hit us on the break. Hopefully it will be sinking into our lads that Bolton always get fired up for games against us and we should get fired up for it to. This is a six pointer and if we can beat them it will be a real set back for fat sam and that gobby c.u.n.t diouf. He loves getting his revenge over us but he hasn't played in the CL since he left and thats the best way to hurt them.   :buttrock
