:O Bloody hell it's true, fúcking bástards!

The truce is over then? fúcking terrorists :(  I woke up late this morning because I arrived late last night and I hadn't read any of this :( It's very sad because we were very hopeful here in the Basque country that the violence was coming to an end. We knew there were little sections of independentists that still wanted violence, as we knew some parts of Spanish conservative party wanted to spoil the peace so they can continue their politics. But this is very sad :( very sad indeed

Yeh, it's ETA, not us the Basques ??? I mention it because this is a strange place to make us know that terrorism act, if it's not intendedly directed to me ???

Anyway just let's wait 48 hours and what the police says. You know, this is strange,  probably a disident  part of ETA.

Yeh, right. Anyway a terrorist is the lower class of human evil, so I wouldn't mix the independentist and terrorist concepts, as I know people who's independentist, but wouldn't kill a fly.

Back to topic, Xabi Alonso has been interviewed in a local paper.

He starts saying not only he's not going to Atletico Madrid as AS newspaper wrote, but he's going nowhere as he's enjoying his life in Liverpool. About the Barcelona game he says that he's ok with Barcelona's favouritism, but that he knows that team well and that he expects to pass the draw, he's willing to play the game!

i still think barcelona needs a player like xabi alonso in the midfield, i prefer xabi alonso than xavi, 4 years ago no, but today yes. But is true with deco and iniesta the midfield are very good. The only think i dont like of this barça is the defense, very vulnerable, belletti is a :censored:, thuram is a old :censored:, oleguer another :censored:, marquez is great when he wants, the only master in the defense is Puyol. I think too is very difficoult to find good and regular defenders in today's football

To be honest Larsson, yesteryear I thought Barcelona had a worse squad than this year. Meaning that I saw a weak point for instance in Oleguer. Typical player that is maintained in the club just to remain that they're a catalan club, as it is a little shame not to have local players. Not good enough, and slow.

When Rijkaard in summer said that he didn't need much of reinforcements but a couple in the defence, I thought he was spot on. THe working machine just needed a couple of adjustements. And the players that they bought seemed to be more than ok for this purpose. Zambrotta and THuram evidently improves the RB and Centre Back positions much more than what Oleguer did.

Marquez is a great centre back. It's very difficult to be the centre back or defensive midfielder of Barcelona. Players like Xavi and Ronaldinho do not press much, and that means the centre backs must be 100% aware and perfect, and the defensive midfielder has lots of work to do and often seem to have troubles. That's why Thuram seems to be slow and Motta is shít according to the Barcelona forums. But the truth is, that it's a difficult job the one they have.

Why is Barcelona not impressing that much?

a) Because you have to play little trophies like the one in Japan. It makes you losing games in the liga, games that must be recovered in wednesday, and that means more accumulated tiredness and less time to prepare the games while the opposition has a whole week to prepare them. This problem was suffered by Liverpool yesteryear when they came from Japan too.

b) Because you've had important injuries like the one of Etoo. Gudjohnsen is a good player but provides to the team different things than Etoo does.

All in all, I think Barcelona will be stronger in march and April than they are right now, meaning I don't see a crisis coming from them nor they have big troubles. They just need to gel together a bit. I like late february to play against them. I don't think they're unbeatable especially if they are overconfident-

-----------Valdes-------------

Zambrotta-Puyol-Marquez-Gio/Sylvinho

--------Motta/Edmilson--------

   Deco----------------Iniesta

Messi-------Eto'o-----Ronaldinho

When barcelona former this 11 without the exception of any player i think is the harder team to beat. But the injuries are against us.

There are different kinds o terrorism. Terrorism literally means to use non sanctioned violence to frighten the enemy in such a way that you gain from it. ETA and most other terrorist organisations in the world use it in such a way that they on many ocassions target civillians that on most occasions just leads to hatred towards the terrorist groups which just makes it more difficult for them in the long run. If on the other hand an occupied country with very small means uses terrorist attacks to drive the enemy away from its border I see nothing wrong with it. Vietnam is a prime example where terror attacks was extremly usefull.
