BARCELONA 1-2 LIVERPOOL - ALL REACTION HERE......

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby Barca Murph » Wed Dec 27, 2006 12:04 pm

What are Liverpool's fixtures before the game against us?

You have the usual tough xmas period while we're on an xmas break. But come January, Barca face a very tough set of fixtures :(

Jan

7th - Away to Getafe (La Liga)

10th - Away to Alavés (Copa del Rey)

13th or 14th - Away to Espanyol (La Liga)

17th - Home to Alavés (Copa del Rey)

20th or 21st - Home to Nastic (La Liga)

24th - Away to Betis (La Liga)

27th or 28th - Home to Celta  (La Liga)

31st - If we get past Alavés in the Copa del Rey, which shouldn't be a problem. We'll play a quarter final game (most likely away) on this day.

Feb

4th - Away to Osasuna (La Liga)

11th - Home to Racing (La Liga)

17th or 18th - Away to Valencia (La Liga)

20th or 21st - Home to Liverpool

Yeah make fun of a man who oppressed a nation, and killed innocent people just because they wanted to be who they were. It's so funny isn't it?

Did I laugh?

You don't know the ins and outs of it - only Franco himself would have.

Get off your high horse you gimp.

No you didn't you moron. But you were trying to suggest that a man that could be likened to Hitler might have had a good motive for doing what he did.

You are a class A tw@t and a disgrace to Liverpool fans on this forum.

Ingore the ill educated, it's not his fault he's ignorant on such a sensitive issue. Educate him, post facts and links for him to read.

Well done for not breaking up their dark past, most angry Barca fans would of, you're a great credit to us!  :)

El Mundo Deportivo is a football tabloid which it's primary function is to do the opposite to Marca. While AS and Marca are Real Madrid tabloids, el MD is a Barcelona one.

They have interviewed Luis Garcia here

http://www.elmundodeportivo.es/20061229/NOTICIA243997646.html

Not worth translating but perhaps the highlights are:

* LG is already used to play the boxing day games, and explains to the press how they're concentrated the new year's night, they see the family before or after that day

* He admits it's something especial to play against Barcelona because many of the players in his Barcelona times are still there. He maintains contact with several Barcelona players, but they've spoken little about the match so far.

* LG admitted that he doesn't like Liverpool's weather, but other than that, he's already used to the city and customs, and he's ok in Liverpool.

* The twát journalist asks wether he would celebrate a goal in Barcelona (some players do not celebrate goals when they score against former teams that were important to them), but he asnwered back that he wouldn't do a "plane" or boastish celebration, but that he'd celebrate it as an important goal.

* The journalist asks him wether a 0-0 would be good for LFC in Nou Camp, and LF answers that not only for LFC but for anybody a 0-0 there is a good result.

* LG says that LFC will have to play very packed together and narrow to leave few spaces, but that doesn't mean they're going to sit deep defending there.

* When he was asked about LFC's weak points, he said that we have those weak points, but it's Barcelona's job to figure them out. He says that Anfield is our best weapon, and describes the feeling of the atmosphere in Anfield.

Funny that............... ???

Barcelona boss Frank Rijkaard bemoaned the 1-0 World Club Cup final defeat to Internacional on Sunday.

"The defeat against Internacional is a failure and a missed opportunity for the club," he said after the match.

"The moment is very bitter but we need to learn from it.

"It is impossible to play only with your heart and not your mind. That was the difference between the two sides today."

The Dutchman added that Internacional were worthy winners, saying "they were superior to us because they prepared perfectly for the final, I have no doubt of that. They merited the victory."

We will see.....lets just concentrate on the two games and see what happens. At the end of the day Half the world will be anticipating this one. What better stage than that for this club to ram home the message, that Liverpool Football Club (as witnessed on that balmy night in May 05) are afraid of NO ONE. And few will relish finding that out for themselves....   Viva las Rojas   YNWA.

With all due respect, what kind of education and manners are tought at your home?

Are you spanking teams 4-0  in La Liga week in week out? You aren't, are you?

Then what kind of *RESPECT* is to come here to tell a club that has won FIVE TIMES the competition you've won TWO TIMES that you're going to win 5-0 and insult them saying maricones?

I hope you're not one of those independentist guys out there mate, cos when it comes to being insular and dumb, you're the pretty much same thing as the deeper Spain twáts :
