I think we will score in the first half and have a fairly comfortable night. I know we have struggled in the last 2 seasons at this stage, but I just cant see it happening this time round because were a much more rounded and experienced squad of players with plenty of players who can play on the big occasion.

I’m going for a fairly comfortable 3-0.

Hmmmmmmmm.....................................

What are you "Hmmmm'in" about? You got your prediction wrong.  ???

As for tonight; another disapponting performance, the players just went about this match like it was a stroll in the park, there was no intent to win the match convincingly, and it almost bit us on the a.rse. Reina saved us, otherwise there would be extra time right now.

The match was boring, Maccabi Hafia were too cautious and never came out of the blocks until they scored and Liverpool just treated the match as a casual training session.

Looks like Momo will be out as well now, looks like Zenden will be used.   :help

That'll come.  For now, let's just take the result, get the lads on the plane and get the fook out of Ukraine!

AS regards the match, we werent that impressive. I thought Garcia played well, but not impressed with Gonzalez and Pennant.
I thought pennant couldn't get in the game much, although he did well to get to the line for his Crouchie cross.

Both of them, pacey, but their touch on the ball/passing/dribbling is sloppy.

you see the difference when Garcia has the ball normally, his control is normally very good.

Lets just hope we dont get Chelsea again in the Group phase in the draw at 5pm thursday. I hope we get the easy group this time.
Im sick of playing the Jose' Spoilt Bunch.

Well job done but not exactly convincing. I feared the worst when the ref blew his whistle after the haifa player went down. Great save by Pepe to stop it going to extra time. Pennant livened up in the second half. Garcia had an ok first half but was awful in the second, he gave the ball away so many times, you can't afford to do that in games like this. Agger again looked solid. Crouchy played well, good ball control, good lay offs and was good at bringing others into play.

A shame that Warnock and Momo were forced off injured. I hope that they are both not serious. On ITV they said it was just a twisted knee for Momo but the liverpool bench were worried. I hope the injury jinx isn't coming again :(

We still need to improve but as soon as the new players gel form should come. I cannot wait to see Kuyt. He should be in action on Saturday.

Now just looking forward to the draw on Thursday, we are seeded, unlike chelsea :p  .

Nowt wrong with that, we all do it to make our feelings known.

Not sad at all. We're all Liverpool FC Fans after all.  By the way it's called multi-tasking.

Well, for those of us unfortunate overseas fans that can get neither tv coverage nor radio coverage of the match and thus rely on the internet to update us, I'll tell you that the people on here who take the time to post match progress are worth their weight in gold.  Commentary on any goals, injuries or cards is always faster on here than on the usual footy pages' web updates plus you get a sense of how the lads are doing.  Sad?  Not at all.

Now, why don't you tell us again why Sissoko is better than Gerrard?  :p

Indeed. Today I couldn't wait to download the match later, I had to read your comments. Thanks to everybody.

Great result , scrappy performance .

Could have been a walkover if Garcia had been blessed with a bit more luck .

Well thats up to you lot.

What was annoying for me is when time and again Pennant gets caught in posession.

Last time Jermaine got caught in posession he got a 3 month Jail sentence and tagged for 6 months.

:D  :D

:D
Sorry couldnt resist.....
