Wonder what brought that on ? Dirty tricks or just dirty plates, lol ?

I remember a time when LFC took all their own food , drink and the staff to prepare it , with them when they visited anyplace in the old eastern bloc .   :D

May just be me being paranoid, but Roman Abramovich has strong links to Israel and Ukraine. Corruption is rampant in Ukraine.  :suspect:

This could be a tricky game and I hope we get over the rustiness we showed in the first leg. I'm going to wake up at 3:00 a.m. in the morning to watch the game live in my parts of the world and the missus just simply could not comprehend why I must wake up to watch Liverpool games live come hell or high water...

I see kick off is 7.35pm - thought it was always 7.45pm?

Wouldn't they have having 11 men behind the ball allow Stevie and Sissoko to get forward easily?  ???

Ah, I said I would be back.

About 20 hours from now the match will be on. It better damn well be entertaining.

Here's all of the danger there was to be avoided in Israel: http://youtube.com/watch?v=Q-57Szmcv80&search=maccabi%20haifa

Pyrotechnics. Ouch.

Not to get worked up. I'm just pokin'...

Whoops...

Nevermind that, then :P

I've recently come to reside in Los Angeles, and this whole time-zome switch got me confused.

Boy will I be glad when we get this tie over and done with. All this student-grade political opinion flying round is giving me the urge to throttle something. I don't remember any of this sh#t when we played Yugoslav sides.

your not wrong...its going to have to be a 'smash and grab' job this. and probably as a spectacle  'not pretty to watch'

losing JC is massive and if the lads can cope with that, were through. i hope rafa does a GH tonight and just stifle them and hit fast and hard using gonzalez/bellamy and pennants pace. stick crouchy up top and nick one or two... see simple.

???  :)

i think we should go all out for the win, attack the kunts early get the goal and then play on the counter. An away goal will kill the tie hopefully and then we can get back to concentrating on the prem.

I have to say I'm looking forward to seeing Agger shine over the next couple of weeks. He'll certainly play tonight and on Saturday. After that we're quite fortunate that there's an international break so Carragher should be fit again for the trip to the pit.

The one thing that Agger has done since he has been injured is he's beefed up a bit. The guy also offers something different to either Carra or Hyppia as he plays the ball out of defence instead of hoofing it to the strikers.

Finnan being back is also a massive bonus. Kromkamp just isn't up to it.
