Not wanting to sound disrespectful to Benfica but i just cant see us getting knocked out.
They might of put paid to the mancs but United were awful in Europe this season.
Benfica look like a decent footballing side but wont be able imo to cope with our pace and power.
I really think that we will narrowly win the first leg 0-1 or 1-2 and then win the home leg 2-0.
Tbh i am really surprised by how happy Benfica are to be playing us, am i missing something :eyebrow

they are happy, coz they are playing the champions of europe

Yes he did - 2 in about 12 games.

Not exactly a goalscoring masterclass is it? One of them was a GK error by Dudek.

Besides, does "Vitoria Guimaraes 2-0 Benfica" mean anything to you?

no one is overly confident of playing Liverpool, specially since we lost 3 out of our 4 last games, conceding 8 goals in the process...
the thing is , we could have had Juventus, Milan, Bayern, Chelsea, Barcelona or Lyon, and any of those would be harder than you theoretically, even if you are the cup holders. You're actually much happier to get us than we're happy to get you...

one thing i can tell you, if you keep on saying we have no chance etc it's cuz you haven't learned :censored:

about football in the last few years. There is no team that is everyday better than the other one. It depends on what day will it be tomorrow. You've conceded 3 goals against a lower league team this year, so why not against Benfica?

Personally i think we're gonna get slaughtered, but that's cuz i'm nervous.

Nope, u aint gonna beat us my friend. Well just see it tomorrow, u´ll be surprised.
And who gives a damn about crouch, we have 3 very tall defenders, so no prob. Only players to control are Gerrard, Garcia and block Riise from attacking.
