Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Hello,

when Morientes signed for Liverpool at the beginning of season, did he signed a contract who stipulates that if Liverpool doesn't qualify itself for the CL 2006, he can leave the club ?

Thx

Never heard of such an option in his contract, but who knows ??
I don't think it's true, he has to work hard this summer and give us more next season :)

Anelka, when he signed for Fenerbahce, he signed an contract who stipulated that if the club doesn't qualify itself for the LDC 2006, he can leave the club .

Agree with Leon, don't need any mercenaries like that.

Do you think Rafa would have told Morientes to fu*k off had he said that in negotiations back in January?

I think yes what about you.

Don't think Morientes travelled.  Had he been eligible, he wouldn't have played against Chelsea.  He is injured.

Morientes will be flying next season. He's a winner and he'll be stewing all summer over what has happened to him this year.
