Yeah Morientes played some lovely flicks into Baros' path, but getting the return pass is never straightforward with Milan.

I was impressed with Mori, for a player to debut against Man U and perform like that says a lot, it was just a pitty that that midfield let us down :(

I don't like to point fingers but questions have to be asked about Dudek

over the coming months i think there's gonna be a goalkeeping merry go round. manure, arsenal and liverpool are all in need of a top goalkeeper at this moment in time.

Anyway, back to the topic -

Morr. was like a breath of fresh air. His positional play was excellent. What he needs now more than anything is to play against a soft team, someone who we can pummel 5-0. I think him scoring a couple of goals will be good for him.

All in all top marks from me...

Really lookin forward to Morro scorin his first goal for us, and then followin it with his second very quickly. I like Pongo and Mellor, but at the minute they're squad players that need experience and someone to learn from.
I think the fact Morientes aint started a game all season didnt help him against the scum, such a high profile game to be your 1st start of the season. Hopefully 2 games from now we can be sayin how well he finished against.... and stasrt listin teams that didnt get back at us.
Gonna be intrestin to see how two Merseyside transfers involvin Real affect the Premiership after this January, cuz I think Graveson's transfer out cud help us to get that 4th spot, 3rd I think is too much to hope for without one or two serious blips from those above us.
Stu Averill, a wannabe Scouse/Scot. I remember the good times & have faith in them comin back

Beside the Hillsborough Flame, I heard a Koppite mournin, "Why so many taken on that day?" Justice has never been done. But their memory we'll carry on. There'll be Glory Round The Fields Of Anfield Road

When you see the videos of the goals he has scored lately, you can understand why!

Hopefully are wingers are up for the task

When we came second in 2002 most fans reckoned a winger (Duff) would be the finishing touch to a winning team.  Three years (and Kewell) later we're still waiting for a world class winger to be bought.

i think that is a bit misleading, he might be the most exciting signing but i doubt he will prove to be the most successful
