Egypt winger Mohamed Salah would be willing to leave Liverpool in the summer if the club fail to qualify for next season's Champions League.

His agent already dismissed this publicly.

Who would have him with that wage with his current form anyway. He's going nowhere even if we want him to go.

Salah, as Egypt's captain, was able to cast three votes for each men's award, and it turns out he had some surprising selections.

He was the only player to cast a first-place vote worth five points to Real Madrid winger Vinicius Junior. His second-place vote worth three points went to Manchester City's Kevin De Bruyne, while his third-place vote worth one point went to PSG's Achraf Hakimi.
Salah did not vote for any of the players who finished in the top seven - Messi, Kylian Mbappe, Luka Modric, Erling Haaland, former teammate Sadio Mane and Julian Alvarez.

He voted for Liverpool colleague Alisson in first place for the goalkeeper award, with Thibaut Courtois in second and Ederson in third.
Salah's votes for the coach award saw him select Carlo Ancelotti in first, Pep Guardiola in second and Walid Regragui in third.

*********

Seems strange he didn’t vote for Klopp

Passed Fowler's goalscoring record today and in style as well. He was MOTM and simply at his best today.  He has been getting a lot of stick since his new deal but still comes up trumps. Top goalscorer every year he has been here  :bowdown

Fair play, I’ve questioned his motivation this year but it all came together yesterday. Quite the achievement considering the players we have had.

Salah, Nunez are gradually improving their understanding with each other, Gapko is also looking good. Also to mention we've got Diaz also who will bolster our attack.

Upt top things are looking very good. Just need to sort out our other issues in the summer.

Mo Salah !! WHAT A PLAYER !! 200 GOALS AND A BAGFUL OF ASSISTS AND SOME PEOPLE ACTUALLY STILL CRITICISE HIM, which frankly beggars belief!! Mo’s contribution at Liverpool has been nothing short of miraculous. Mo is certainly one of Liverpool‘s greats if not the greatest of all time. Liverpool paid £36.9m for Mo in 2017 which was a club record at the time. I’ve got to admit I really wasn’t particularly excited about the deal. Previously Mo had scored just 2 goals for Chelsea in his his initial Premiership experience and certainly didn’t set the world on fire. I guess we owe Chelsea a debt of gratitude for being so incredibly incompetent and not getting the best out of him. In 2014/15 Mo scored 2 goals in 13 games, during his first season at Chelsea, after they had paid £11m for him from Basel. In 2015 Mo went on loan to Florentina followed by a loan spell at Roma before they eventually bought him for £12m in 2016. Mo averaged nearly a goal every two games with both Florentina and Roma. Mo had started to look like a better player but let’s face it Serie A is full of some very average teams. Roma reluctantly sold Mo to Liverpool in 2017 when they were in trouble with the Financial Fair Play rules. Chelsea received £2.7m from Roma as they had insisted on a sell on clause. That was possibly the only clever thing that Chelsea did with regard to Mo. In total Chelsea made a £3.7m profit on their £11m outlay which let’s face it at the time they were probably quite satisfied with. No doubt now they wonder where it all went wrong with Mo Salah !! WHAT A PLAYER !!

It’s also goes without saying that Mo owes an incredible debt of gratitude to both Jürgen Klopp and Liverpool Football Club for having the vision to buy him and bringing the very best out of him. He is now one of the highest paid players in the world with a potential transfer value of  between £150m to £250m. Frankly, I wouldn’t sell him for a penny less than £250m to that collection of sports washing parasites. Personally, I think Mo would be making a great mistake going to Saudi Arabia. Their football, as several former Liverpool players are discovering is nothing short of a joke. In 2024 Mo will be playing in front of 61000 adoring fans at Anfield. Compare that to the crowd of 700 that Jordan Henderson, recently played in front of in Saudi !! To say that it would be a complete waste of one of footballs finest players would be a complete understatement. In my opinion, given Mo’s ability to keep himself extremely fit and injury free it would be no surprise that he could continue playing at a very high level until his late thirties.

Mo is a club legend regardless of what he does. All depends if he wants to retire here or jump the money train and earn in a few years what he would in double, quadruple the time.

Just pure delusion here. Reality calling!
Mo has 1 YEAR left on his contract this summer.
He will 100% leave when his contract is up when saudi offers him 100+ million/year
Then we' won't get a single penny and needing a replacement. Good luck with that....

MO SALAH LEGEND: Salah now has 14 goals and seven assists from 21 appearances so far this season, while his overall returns for Liverpool stand at 200 goals and 81 assists from 327 games since first moving to Anfield from AS Roma in the summer of 2017. Remember when he was supposed to be a one-season wonder?

Congratulations Mo and thank you !!
