Remember when he was supposed to be a one-season wonder?

Congratulations Mo and thank you !!

I think for sure legend! Not sure if it’s because opposing defenders at doubling up on, him wanting to move to Saudi, the loss of Firmino or age is catching up with him but he does look less prolific this year, despite his numbers. Still, our best attacker and deserves his place in Liverpool folklore.

He has joined a hell of a club next to the likes of Billy Liddell and Ian Rush, he’s a bona fide club legend, the main man in a team that won our first league title in 30 years and got to 3 CL in 6 years, he has won every trophy in the game in a red shirt, one of the true greats for sure.

Some of Mo's football has literally had me rubbing my eye's in disbelief, even in slow motion replays I'm gasping and wondering how the f*ck did he do that ? ! . An absolute Superstar  :buttrock   :buttrock   :buttrock .

Not great news for us either as he's still likely to miss Chelsea and Arsenal if he got injured.

I'd say he's done his hammy or came very close to it but we won't know until the club doctors get their hands on him. Problem is that if it isn't gone he will want to play which will run the risk of him finishing it off.  They are in a tight situation with only 2 pts so it all comes down to Monday night against the group leaders. If he is walking they are going to want him to play in that.

'Salah to miss two matches for Egypt as tests confirm muscle injury'

http://www.skysports.com/share/13052005

Egypt Football Federation said that tests on the forward had shown a strain in his posterior muscle.

Don't know much about injuries, anyone's knows if this strain could easily recur.

Hope Egypt lose and are out.

I've strained my hamstring training for a marathon in the past. Was fine after 10 days rest and light stretching.

However, if they rush him back, it could become really serious and end his season. Hopefully that's his last game of the tournament.

Klopp has confirmed Mo is coming back to Liverpool for his treatment.

Good news, we'll only let him go back for the knock out games when he's fit and ready.

That's great news, now hoping Egypt are kicked out the comp.

Egypt vs Cape Verde today.
Mozambique vs Ghana.

We need one of the other sides to win and Egypt either lose or draw.

However sure I heard, 'best' 3rd place team qualifies...hmmm

Cape Verde is certain to go through as first placed so they'll probably not bother too much and will let Egypt win.

Gonna be a devils advocate here for considering selling Salah

His incredible footballing brain and skill aside , one of his biggest assets has been his pace.

He's approaching 32 years old in June of this year and now suffering from  a hamstring injury that even after "recovery" has blighted the physical and mental performance of many players (thinking about Michael Owen for starters)

He'll always be a legend at our club but given his age, current condition and the fact he'll be on the last year of his contact for the forthcoming 24/25 season should we consider cashing in on his value while we can ?

A massive offer from Saudi (and elsewhere ? ) would enable us to refresh and invest .

I'd sadly and with great regret invite offers for him.

Your opinions please lads, hopefully given with heads before hearts   :)
