After that pathetic, insipid and disgusting "managerial" display against Leicester City........HE HAS TO GO.

I'm sorry he does, that's it no more chances.

He should be fired. The sooner the better.

One of the worst managers we have had, which INCLUDES the owl.

Can't coach, can't manage any of our players, doesn't have the ba.ll.s to drop SG when it's clear as day that he needs to, can't bring in any decent players because no one wants to play for him and talks constant irritating s**t to the media.

Get the f**k out of here  Duck Dodgers, we are at the end of line with you.....

Come on lads we've lost one of our last eleven games! yes today was disappointing but let's keep things in perspective. Forget the likes of Southampton and Spurs, that fourth place will come down to a straight fight between us and Arsenal and we've clawed the gap back to just four points (with still half the season to go).

I also thought 3rd and 4th would between us, Arsenal and Utd however the way this season is going,  I think the likes of Southampton, Spurs and even west ham could very well be be involved come May.

We need a really strong second half to the season and hopefully Sturridge will aid that but I'm not convinced we will be able mask our defensive gremlins like we did last year with the same amount of goals. Also the Europa will be another headache. Certainly don't think it will be as cut and dried as just ourselves and Arsenal this year.

Oh come on Yakka, don't give me that garbage. We drew at home to the worst side in the premier league. You can't paper over that!!!  :veryangry

We all knew what the result was going to be in the game thread when SG was in the center pushing Henderson out to the wing.  Inept managing at it's worst. To leave out Balotelli from the squad and bring on the piece of dog s**t Borini was a literal f**k you to everyone supporting this club. I am livid for that, totally avoidable and we could have been just 4 points off 4th on New Year's day.

The man is on borrowed time and I will have no sympathy when he is shown the door over the next few weeks or the end of the season. It's inevitable, he is gone!

Also if you think Spurs are going to go away, think again. Look at their draw and compare it to ours. Their hardest two games are away to us and Manure the rest of their games are all winnable especially the way they just put 5 past Chelsea. Pochettino will take them very close to 4th spot this season and I really think its b/w them and Arsenal. We don't even fit into the picture the way we are being managed at the moment.  :no

Wind your neck in mate? Weve drawn to Leicester, who despite being at the bottom of the league, have been playing well and got some decent players.
Can you really blame the manager for the two great goals they scored? Can you blame him for Markovic missing a sitter? He put out a team which should have won, but they didnt.

Regardless of what we think of him, if FSG sacked the King for finishing 8th, then Brendan would better be ready for the same treatment if he finishes anywhere below 7th. In fact, if he fails to qualify for CL, he will surely be sacked after wasting 117 million in the summer. With the way things are going now, a 10th place finish is where we'll end up, 8th at best.

BR will be here until the end of the season unless we really do go on a real wretched run of form which I don't think will happen as we seem to be coming out of our dodgy start. Seeing positive signs although still get blips like yesterday which put doubt in your mind. If we get 4th, BR will be here next season. If we come close but maybe just miss out on it, then I think he could still be OK as long as the signs are there that we are improving. If we are some way off, then you would imagine there will be a change in the summer.

Even if LFC get 4th, BR will be replaced. Big changes are afoot and set to be completed by the Summer

Rodgers won't be sacked for wasting £117m (or any other figure you want to hang around his neck for that matter) because he isn't solely in charge of transfers.
If he goes it will be because FSG feel he isn't getting enough out of the players at his disposal.
We are basically using the continental model at the club now and a lot of other premier league clubs are going down the same road.

Rodgers has made a rod for his own back.

Had he played the same team that beat swansea apart from the suspended Skrtel then he would have alot more respectfrom the fans right now.

His words before the game about Gerrard walking straight back in the team was pathetic as is his desicion making in all aspects.

When Gerrard leaves at the end of the season he will walk into a side that will probably double his wages

Rodgers on the other hand will find himself back where he belongs mid table club

Wow would be very surprised if that was the case but sounds like you've heard about things happening in the background so maybe changes are a foot in the summer. Will certainly be intriguing to see how we set up and bring in

If BR does go in the summer, I think it will be De Boer replacing him. Apart form being a good young manager, has played at the very highest level so probably understands the expectancy that comes with big jobs

Thommo, he didn't put out a team to win, he put out a team to accommodate one player, I can blame him for the goals they scored as we may have been 2-0 up but we were playing sh1t, you could see the midfield was over run before their first goal and you could see what was coming, he had the opportunity to change things and shore up our midfield at half time, even prior to their goal but he stubbornly refused to do so and then made one of the worse subs going, Lallana for Borini, that was inept. I keep on thinking he is going to change and take us forward and then he pulls out this, nearly every decision he made out there was wrong. There was absolutely no reason why he decided to change a winning team, there was absolutely no reason to have Borini and Lambert on the bench. We cannot afford performances like that if we are to get into 4th but can you honestly say he won't do something similar again.

I.just worry about giving our manager cash to spend as he wasted the suarez money.20m for Markovic ( Not worth it), 25m for Llalana (worth about 10m tops), 16m for Balotelli ( Not worth diddly squat). He overpays big time.
I wouldn't give him 1 penny more of lfc cash to squander.
