Those 2 conmen make them look like saints but nevertheless, they are not good enough owners to lead Liverpool back to glory simply because they don't have the financial strength of City, Chel, and manure. And what is their solution, buy young players with potential with a high resale value and I suspect they have drummed this into Brendan's head and the transfer committee. That's why half of the summer signings have been youngsters (Can, Manquillo, Origi, Markovic and Moreno). The rest are not kids (Lovren, Lallana, Balotelli and Lambert) but NONE of them make us fans excited. This is a flawed policy and will only make us finish mid table plus there are reports that Sterling has refused a new contract and R.Madrid are courting him. If it's true, then this signing young players thing is exploding in front of their faces. Are signing young players and appointing young managers been the mission of our rivals? Not a chance, manure for example appointed a 60+ year old Dutch legend as mgr and all they siginings have been matured players ie we're doing the opposite of what a successful club been doing. Unless fsg change this defective policy, there is no future for our beloved club regardless of who the manager is. Even if we have a Mourinho or Guardiola in charge and if the instructions to them in the transfer market is to sign kids, the mid table finish will still continue. So my message to fsg is, change or get out.
Brendan, managing a big club with high expectations is too much for him. He doesn't have the experience to be in the hot seat. He doesn't know how to defend and never will. This reason is enough for the sack. He overlooked the SAS and banked too much hope on Sturridge being fit enough. How could he replace the SAS with an old man and a nutcase still baffles me. He is now clueless on team selection and tactics and a quick turnaround is needed to save his job which I don't think will happen. Having said that, I don't believe in sacking him now because it is hard to find a suitable replacement for a big club while the season is in progress. We won't be relegated under him this season, so I would want him to be in charge till next May and find a manager at least in the calibre of Rafa to take over. If you appoint a mid table manager with a mid table mentality, you will finish mid table and that is what is happening to this club and we've done that with Hodgson. He is poor in the transfer market and have wasted 200+ million on average players since he came. Brendan has also ruined this club and set the clock back, we're out of the CL and we're spiraling down in the PL table. Even if fsg heavily funds him in the next window, no quality players will want to come.
Hope I am wrong but the O.T. game will be a lamb to the slaughter and I am hoping for a decent defeat with our heads held high.

He seriously needs to start learning from his mistakes though.

Learning from his mistakes is what most have been saying, but also, as most have said (myself included), he is to arrogant, stubborn and egotistical to learn from his mistakes.
