Well I'm right behind him 100%. He's the best manager for a long long time. His ideas are good, he is courageous for coming in and reworking the whole style of the team.

the thing is how long will he keep to 4-3-3 if we keep losing thats my only worry.

Well that info would have been alot more of use last Thursday 

I won't judge the guy on 3 games, but only at Christmas time when we will get a better indication of where we will be in the table, and if we are winning our home games (unlike last season). If we are failing to do that then, it maybe the time to criticise the manager somewhat.

My only opinion, based on the first three matches is:
1. Lack of shots on target.
2. We pass well, but are losing posession too much.
3. Being clinical in the final third.
4. Individual mistakes made, costing us goals.

Thats about it for now. Sunderland away (a martin o'neil side), and home to Man Utd. Never easy. As long as we get shots in on target and don't make silly mistakes in defence, we should do ok.

a series of tough fixtures for rogers first year at LFC is not easy for him.
it will either make him or break him. what doesnt kill you makes you stronger.
i hope we can get wins against our next two fixtures.
whack o'neil team for our first league win. we badly need it.

If we can get 2 points off the next 2 games then I'll be happy. We look well organised and good apart from the final third, Brendan has to stop playing Suarez as the lone striker becuase he just isn't suited for it, he has to either try Borini in that position or one of the academy lads.

i'm off to sunderland next weekend and if you offered me a point now i'd snap your hand off. the game against united we're bound to play better but it's not really games against the top teams where we'll be judged this season. those games have never been the problem. it's when we face the likes of norwich, stoke and reading that i'll judge where we're going as we've struggled to break these teams down especially at home.

Lets hope that shuts a lot of people up. I doubt it will, but lets hope.

Part 2 was excellent. I hope he persists (he will) with his philosophy. He did say however, that from now until January he may have to make an "intermediate" approach and described that he'll still work on the same principles of his game but he may have to alter something to produce the results in the meantime - because the squad aren't his full "profile" of players yet and of course they're still learning his way.

It was interesting when he said that when players have become used to 'more' counter attacking football for x-amount of years, they're more or less primed to attack and play quick passes (in the final third), to score at a given opportunity. He has to change that, instead of having the likes of Gerrard and Suarez trying to open teams up in the very first phase of attacking, he wants them to keep possession and not be so anxious as they are, keep the ball, move the opponents around a bit. Don't feel rushed into making something happen on a first attempt.

I think he should swap the front three, persist with the same players but change them around:

Play Sterling wide right, Bornini center and Suarez left.                Sterling-------Borini-------Suarez

I think Brendan really needs to get Borini out of the blocks and scoring as soon as possible (for obvious reasons) and for that reason I'd like to see his clever movement used centrally and get on the end of something, Suarez will cause havoc no matter where he is but finishing isn't his forte.

Couldn't agree more and while I was expecting it would be a tough start to this journey and mistakes have been made. I don't really it's a gloomy picture as some people seeming to be drawing on this forum

The gloomy picture is due to the manner of the defeats, WBA was awful and a failing arsenal team played us off the park, this was then made worse by allowing our only other striker on loan and not replacing him. There has been nothing to cheer about apart from the fact we seem to have the left wing covered for the next ten years.

I dont get this talk to the press all time way. I mean not two days ago we had our OWNERS doing open letters!!!. This guys talks a good game he seems to know what he wants and how he wants it but thats enough of these sit downs i dont know why he needs to explain himself to anyone.

The last man that came in and wiped the slate clean did very well, But he hit the ground running.

In short if we want long term gains then there is a ***** storm to walk though first.

some times i dont understand the euphoria of some fans here. what's has rogers done in the past 3 league games and over the past few seasons that justified your high hopes for him? in fact we've sacked managers with better record than him.
keep your expectation in check and you will be so disappointed in the future. ok rant over.
