Have to agree. Seriously seriously impressive. Not just what he said but the fact you know from watching the interviews the he SO SO means what he says. One of the most honest, candid and impressive interviews I have seen.

We need to get behind this guy, be patient and trust him.

That interview was so interesting and the way he talks about the game so refreshing. Nice to hear his views and I very much liked the passion and honesty he has and shows.

As someone else said he makes me want to play for him and be part of what he’s building. Also I agree that it is such a good idea to utilize Lucas while injured.

you only have to look at spurs fans who have booed their team off in the last two games, three games into AVB's reign.

To compare the 2 is an interesting exercise just from the perspective of instinct as he was touted as a world class manager we should be looking at. There is something about AVB that comes across as he just isn't ready for the high profile jobs he is getting. I don't trust him and I don't believe in him. I held my comments back when he was at Chelsea as I don't think anyone is to be trusted or could feel comfortable at that club, but now he is at Spurs, he reminds me of a rich kid playing big boys games. I have obviously nothing to back that up particularly, but Rodgers doesn't give me that feeling at all. I would walk behind Brendan and not AVB. If a manager cannot reassure and inspire, they are nowhere.

Very inspiring and extremly refreshing.
He has a work ethic and principles that i don't think anyone can argue with and the most impresesive thing for me is his ambition and dedication.

Fair play to him, any fan who watches this should understand that we may take some time to get where everyone wants to be but we are certainly heading in the right direction and not treading water or going backwards.

Haven't been able to see that Rogers interview yet, but AFAIC, I'm only interested if any positive words are translated onto the pitch. Anyone can talk a load of old guff, but if the theory doesn't show up as practice, then it isn't worth shite, to be honest.

He can say that the team bake fairy cakes after training for all I care.

Lets see what he does on the pitch with a thin squad, in this "results" business, called football. With europa games  on thursday + league games sat/sun between now and christmas I predict a rough ride.

His talk of not signing in the transfer window and so , bringing the "inexperienced" players into the fray made the hair on my neck stand on end to be frank. A lot are no where near yet good enough, and that is a bad mistake.

He also seemed quite inexperienced during that interview. I fear a lot of " trial and error" during brendans reign.

Those who are bowled over listening to the manager talk,must realise he is in new territory as manager of lfc. Dont take everything he says as gospel

true, there have been many managers in the past that have talked a great game but couldnt translate those words into performances on the pitch (malcolm allison etc)
being a great communicator doesnt make you a great manager, bob paisley wasnt a great talker but as he said himself he let his teams do the talking for him, if he had anything to say his teams said it for him, where it counts - on the pitch.
there`s a lot to like about rodgers but it has to be said he hasnt won anything yet, he hasnt even won a johnsons paint trophy or a leyland D.A.F trophy or anything. he`s been fast tracked to the top and it will be interesting to see if he can handle it.
i`m sure he knows himself teams play their way to the top, not talk their way.
