Rodgers has taken a right roasting off the fans after just three games. Imagine what the rest of the season will be like.

welcome to a big club in the modern age, look at what kenny dalglish did for this club as a player and manager, look how he picked the club up off it`s knee`s in the aftermaths of heysel and hillsborough, but did it stop the vultures circling and putting the boot into him?
he`s been sacked 6 months and people still have a go at him.

Not sure I agree.

Most fickle fans have been having a pop at the owners. Rodgers seems to be getting a chance.

Not to mention how he picked us up from the relegation zone and lows of the Hodgson era / aftermath of the H +G ownership.
He may have wasted the money but god knows were we would have ended up without him stabilising the club.

Not may have wasted money, he DID waste money and is the direct reason why Rodgers has feck all to buy new players with, a lot of the blame for the current situation is on Kenny so please stop with this ridiculous canonization of him.
I still have the utmost faith in Brendan but if he is not backed by the owners, in a sensible fashion, like the extra £2million to get Dempsey, then we will end up a midtable team irrespective of who manages us.

I haven't seen too many fans on this forum giving Rodgers a hardtime in all honesty. I am sympathetic with Rodgers because he has come to a Liverpool football club which is in a bad way at the moment and it will take years to put this club right. The players need to learn a new system and a new way of playing, that's going to take sometime to happen. The Owners seem to be making a hash of things at present, mistake after mistake and this is having a knock on effect to the team. My major worry this season is will Rodgers be here next season? I don't think I could handle another manager going out and another one coming in. In fairness, I was highly critical of Kenny last season, but I felt at the time he should be allowed another season to get things right, but our Owners had other ideas.

Roger is right though, we're in this together and we need to stick together, but I can't deny, 3 games in, I'll be glad when we reach game 38 and the season draws to a close.

I can sympathise with Kenny, he tried his best, he brought in players he thought would transform us and would be able to adapt to his style, but it just didn't work. There should be no hard feelings towards Kenny, he only tried to do the right thing by us, unfortunately for him and for us it never worked out. That said, I do find the constant criticism of him, 3-4 months after he has left to be rather futile and quite insulting to a legend of this club.

i am worried abt rogers.
apparently he want to swap hendo, enrique or downing for dempsey.
yes, a 29 yr old we arent willing to pay 6m but willing to trade him for players we sign 16m(hendo) or 20m(downing) last season.

did rogers failed elementary maths in his school days? fans will say hendo and downing underperformed last season. but its their first season in our club and if players are judge based on their first season. gooners n wenger will probably already sold half of their 2004 invincibles including henry, pires and ljungberg. and enrique is probably our best left back for 20 decades since riisle over traore, zeige, stauton (2nd spell), babb and many more disasters left backs.
rogers has yet to prove himself as LFC manager over 3 games and his treatment of players from previous regime left a bad taste in my mouth.

steady on fella, only been 3 games and it's a transformation he's trying to implement. no need to imply he's thick because he really isn't.

I don't believe that story at all, becuase it would indeed mean that Brendan is a complete fecking moron, I also don't for one second believe that he had the opportunity to buy Sturridge but instead preferred to just take him on loan, that doesn't make sense either. I imagine we were offered Sturridge for £15 million but Ayre and/or the owners blocked it, like they refused to offer £6 million instead of £4 million for Dempsey.

We wouldn't have been able to sign Sturridge on-loan or permanently, he has no desire to play for us according to several reports I've read. As for the manager, it's been three games, it's far too early to judge, but we do need to get a convincing win against Sunderland. That's vital.

Rodgers is trying to implement a new way of playing which has looked fantastic despite not hitting the back of the net in two out of three games we really havent looked bad at all.

Playing Arsenal and City is difficult for any team but when you have a new manager new players and new ideas a bit of patience is needed especially as We wasnt worse then Arsenal on sunday we just lacked the ball going into the net.

Theres many positives which has been listed on another thread including the performances of Raheem Sterling the easy on the eye football and the fact we have only played three games and were still gelling.

I mentioned it countless times before about the position Arsenal was in the same time last year exactly the same as us 1 point from 3 games playing us Newcastloe and UTD they had a much worse goal diffreence but ended up 3rd.

I think we all need to support the manager and his ideas because booing jeering or whatever some people like to do isnt helping and wont especially as we are meant to be known for our fantastic support and sticking by our managers
