This didn't make for comfortable reading.

nah, i think thats fair enough, he`s just saying if we have a good game (like against city) he wont assume we are the best side in the world or conversely if we have a bad game (like against arsenal) he wont think we are the worst side on the planet either.

Well I was really upset on Sunday, I was close to tears as I watched Cazorla score the second goal. Call me over emotional, but that hurt a lot.

f**king hell i wouldnt say i was that upset.
i wasnt even that @rsed when the second went in, when they scored the first i knew it was game over, it was one of those afternoons. everything about the game was flat

I'm still upset about Rafa leaving, I'll never get over that.

Why are we scrutinising everything that he says and acting as if the season is all over after 3 games. I go to every game that i can, and i am entitled to my view cos i will pay a heck of a wedge over this season but i knew before i bought my season ticket that it wasnt going to be all that straight forward. I just love a match day and when u are there it is better than watching it on a tv. I can see what BR is trying to achieve and if it wasnt for silly mistakes we would have a few more points. BR aint to blame for pepes mistakes, aggers sending off and some dreadful finishing. We have a small squad but we know BR is still setting his stall out so perhaps giving youth and the likes of henders, cole, assi whats his name and co game time then 1 or 2 new faces in jan will see us have a decent 2nd half of the season. We cant turn back the clock, the owners have admitted their mistakes and i am sure will react to their letter, BR needs time and we should allow him the cos there aint many other managers out there that fill me with enthusiasm as BR does. If he is given time and all being well further funds, he will get it right. Lets calm down, support BR and put your hankies away.

Same here with me mate. Over here in Asia, it was our Sunday evening night time and I didn't sleep well and was tired the next day.
Now, why did BR chose to come to Liverpool when his job at Swansea was safe and sound? He wanted to manage a big club with lofty ambitions and wanting to win or at least be contenders for the PL title every season. After 3 months, the reality is, the owners are either stingy or have no money but instead harp on developing the youth, strong support for FIFA Financial Fair Play and long term plan that could extend to 16 years (Mr.Henry, this is a cruel joke and it's not funny) . That means, be prepared to be a mid table or another Wigan for the next 5 years at least which is totally against the mission of a club like Liverpool.
If I were BR, I would be ***** off with the stupid owners because if the owners are not going to financially support me to buy the players I want and most likely end up somewhere from bottom half to mid table for a few seasons while we're waiting for the youngsters to come out good ( a big risk indeed) with not much chance of seeing the light at the end of the tunnel, then why took the job in the first place? I might as well stay at Swansea without the extra risks and tremendous pressure of managing Liverpool where you're expected to win majority of your games. Thus to conclude, I would tell the owners bluntly with a serious demeanour when the Jan. window opens "MR.Henry and Mr.Werner, Back me with the funds to buy who I want or Sack me, I am not going to tolerate any of your public B.S. rhetoric".
What has BR got to lose even if they sack him? I am sure he won't stay unemployed for long.

If we finish mid table or lower, all the star names will want to leave. No high profile managers or players will want to come next season. Lowering expectation would be fine a generation ago, but to progress today you need CL football and super mega rich owners. If we continue to lower expectations for a few more seasons, even Everton will be above us permanently if they are bought by a super rich owner.
I don't expect Lpool to finish in top 4, that's for sure, but with the owners not investing heavily in the club and with only 2 strikers, we're heading for deep waters here and could drown and never recover.
