Liverpool Football Club - Games

By the way, on the positives, Chelsea lost and we're only 3 pts behind 3rd place and 2 pts behind our coveted 4th place. So let's concentrate on beating Brighton and Wolves next.

I think there is a bit of over reaction here, yes, we didn't play well but I honestly believe that if we kept 11 men on the pitch we would have got something out of that game. I thought the ref was a joke, Adam's first booking was soft and the sending off was harsh. Suarez got no protection from the ref at all. One things for certain, Skirtel is no right back.

The PL is the best, toughest and fastest league in the world. If the refs do not use instant camera replays, they will all end of as jokers and get the contempt they deserve from fans.

that's the worst i've ever seen, mate

Kenny needs to show leadership now and tackle this head on.

If he comes out and blames the ref and makes excuses then as far as i'm concered he's not the man to lead us back to glory.

Well KD didn't, and that's good to hear, he said that we were poor, Tottenham were better and we need to do improve

(privately I'm sure he gave a hair dryer treatment to the players)

Lets get the job done against Brighton and Wolves

Skrtel is no RB and CB, liability

Knee jerk reaction time again...

What did you EXPECT ?

1. Blinding goal form Modric - what do yuo do to legislate for Aggers slip/injury and Modric's finish?

2. Adam sent off. OK he was an a-se and should be told so BUT how many times in Premiership history have 10 men come from behind to win AWAY from home? Statosticians please find out and post

3. and how many times have 9 men played for 20 mins and not conceded?

Rubbish start ...but really thats ALL you can say about the performance. Unless you think 10 v 11 and 9 v 11 ia tailor made for an away victory

Skrtel and Adam need a good kicking

I don't know about these professional footballers. But if I were one and got a yellow card, I'll bl**dy make sure I don't play rough for the rest of the game and yet Skertel and Adam were stupid enough to do just that.

To exaggerate a bit, I think the Spurs Womens Team could beat Livepool today and my 83 year old dad could have been Spurs goalkeeper today and still not concede a goal against a side with Suarez and Carroll as strikers.

I would say Skirtel's failure to pick up Bale was a more worrying feature of that goal....but it didn't surprise me...never play centre halves in a full backs position...

Skirtel didn't pick up Bale because he moved centre to cover for Agger...who was standing back holding his side and doing f**k all.  It's not the first time he's hurt himself and lost interest in the game.

agger had moved back into the middle.....its the right backs job to pick up Bale...there was a fair bit of time lapse between agger slipping and Bale receiving the ball all on his lonesome on our right...to be fair Kenny should not have put Skirtel in a full back role

We didnt turn up,could see that straight from the kick off.
Bit harsh too send Adams off,but still think we would have lost if we had 11 players on.
Hope Hendo gets benched as soon as Stevie G is back & would prefer Kuyt to start than Gypsy boy any day, think KK might feel he has too start with them both for there fees they cost us :(
It is the worst ive seen us play since Woy was in charge, but still early days.
Lets get a win over Brighton then Wolves, that should put us in a confident mood against the bitters

Don't think it's a case of if mate, it's more a case of must. That's if they are serious about pushing for 4th place. Ok we spent 35mil on Carroll but that all came from Torres so wasn't like FSG put that in themselves. Don't want to sound like some spoiled Chelsea fan here with their hand out to Roman saying give me more but im afraid that could be what we need, more quality.

Will Henderson and Carroll come good? I honestly don't know as im not expert, but I hope they do as if they don't it will reflect bad on Kenny and the last thing we need is the pressure to start piling on him.

But I think more spending in January is a must. We need another CB who can fill RB, a creative midfielder who can play on the wings and someone who can play WITH Suarez.

Carroll is probably a good option to have on his own or with Kuyt if Downing and Henderson are playing well and banging in crosses but if those 2 arnt performing then im afraid what we will see from Carroll will be limited. He may have cost 35mil but he is still quite raw. It's obvious though that most have already lost patience with him, the price one pays for costing 35million.

At least Sam is back in Dublin  :D

Nah mate, I'm seething too. An absolute shocker of a decision to play Skittle RB, fook knows what KK was thinking. Though he did say during the week that he's playing well this season. It looked like Skittle shat his bags when he was Bale bearing down on him. What a complete no-match there.

Carroll needs his bleedin' head examined 'cos he's not at the races. Adam blows totally hot and cold. Henderson looks like a total waste of space..

i think everyone is gutted because we thought we'd turned a corner and were moving forward. Judging from our last two games, it's back the sh!te we were playing last season
