Liverpool FC vs Spurs

so this week it's the return of the Tax Dodger and his pack of ar$e bandits as the mighty Liverpool host Spurs.

The last time spurs came to Anfield was May 2011 and Spurs beat Liverpool  2-0 that day. But we're a different Liverpool now, with the return of Suarez and Gerrard to the team, Andy Carroll and Dirk finding a bit of form,  I expect a goal feast.

Ingurland's future Manager may have other issues on his mind so lets hope he forgets the team talk like he forgot to pay the tax man.

Spurs Joke of the Day

- Man walking his dog over the park finds the Spurs squad playing football with a hedgehog. In disgust he shouts out that he is going to phone the RSPCA. The hedgehog shouts back "Leave it out mate, I'm winning 3-0!"

- A spurs fan walks past a shop and sees a video called "Tottenham - the glory years" for sale for £100. He asks the assistant "Why is it so expensive?" She says " The video's only a tenner, but the Betamax video player costs £90!"

I like this team. Though perhaps Spearing for Adam. I daren't predict the score.

Its a major, major opportunity to take 3 points back on Spurs, would really shake things up if we could bag things.

Ure the following week then the Bitters, then Aresenal.... we need every point.

Think if we pick up some decent points over the next 3/4 games, then we will be solidly in 4th spot.

Easier said than done, but we have had so many opportunities to do so this season this is probably our last chance to get into that CL spot.

Just think 4th place, FA Cup winners, League cup winners...............................................not a bad season  :p

Also, got to say, I've been massively impressed with Spurs this year. I hope a lot of their buys were influenced by Comolli and we'll see the benefit in years to come. I still can't believe we didn't buy Parker from West Ham when he was going for 4 million, superb player. Bale looks like he has the potential to be world class. Ekotto he was completely nondescript has turned into an excellent left back, and Modric, who always looked interesting, has turned out to be a complete wizard. They're great to watch and have played better football than anyone bar City this year. I'd like to see them win the league above anyone else, and I actually quite like Rednapp as well.

That said, with our current run of form, and our record against better teams, I think we can win it.

the derby is postponed. the FA saw sense that it would be too much for us to play the carling cup final the next day. not that a cup final is any easier a game than the derby though, of course. in fact cardiff will probably be a much tougher proposition.

the spurs match though... oof. they're on fire and we'll have to be right at the top of our game. luis will hopefully be completely and utterly on one and will give them nightmares.

we need to beat these if there is any hope whatsoever of a 4th spot finish.
the chavs play manure on sunday so its a great oppertunity for us to gain even more on them.
2.1 to us with suarez and carroll for us and bale for them.
