I thought he looked decent when he came on, obviously trying to impress his new manager with a clean slate. He looked committed to the cause today to his credit and if he can keep doing that week in week out then he might just develop into the player he's capable of

Pretty much agree with this assessment though I still doubt the final sentence about Babel developing into something more. At least it has now been officially highlighted how many penalties the mancs are awarded at home by their good buddy Webb.

if any other player had tweeted that we would have all been made up with them.
Babel is clearly a bit of a dope but at least he showed a bit of passion and that the defeat hurt him.
That actually surprised me.

But if we could get decent money for him i would take it and try and get someone else in, there's only so many wasted chances someone can have.

after having a lookup it dont seem that it is his but you never know.

??? Why should the FA look into our club and our fans over ferdinands Twitter?

It was FC Uniteds goalie who posted it, Ferdinand and Co have sang Murderers on a night out, live on telly when they won the CL, and live on the radio what do you mean by our fans?

no you read it wrong...or what i put reads wrong, i mean us fans and our club should look into to it and take action if he himself has called us that.

to be fair to the FA, they have to do something. while we might agree with babel's sentiments its dangerous for the FA to let it go. as soon as players see that it is ok to disrespect and undermine the referees (despite half of them being incompetent) then the game descends into anarchy. as much as we might dislike some of them, or most of them, we have to ensure their authority for the good of the game. babel has made his point and i'm sure that webb is aware of it.

I'm sorry... while I did find it amusing, you have to say that the FA had no choice.

Babel was dumb to do it in such a public domain.
He really is not the brightest bulb in the bunch.

The thing is and it's good in many ways in that Kenny kind of has that 'Fergie denial' aspect to his character.
He will fight our cause a lot harder, in reality he probably had a word with Babel but he isn't going to let anyone know that.

Whereas Hodgson would have been very apologetic to everyone, Dalglish is just saying "get over it".

The F.A had a choice, Babel apologized in the end, and what happened to something called sense of humor? did the F.A ask Howard Webb if it offended him in any way? do you think Webb gives two :censored: if people started posting pictures of him with a Manc top? Did Babel in anyway call him a c*nt or a tw@t or any abuse? No he did not, the picture was just a light hear ted humor and I think Webb is bigger than that to see it as any offense, I'm sure he giggled when he heard about it.

Players can't even voice their opinion, if John Terry has done this he would have got nothing but a warning from the F.A.
