I can't see the judge in Texas agreeing not to revoke the TRO against NESV. The odds are that the takeover will go through tomorrow but I don't hold a huge amount of conviction on that and at the eleventh hour I wouldn't be surprised to see Hicks come up with £300 million to pay off RBS.

I love it, I really do, I'd give a thousand quid to be there - I'd have to snaffle in a few drinks though.

"Go ed Grabbo Lad"

I bet in all seriousness them blokes have loved being involved in the case, and are dead proud of what they've done for tens of thousands of good people. They should be too. Blokes like Broughton, Grabbo, the judge and all them lot do this every day, but it's for faceless corporations, not for real people whose motivation isn't just money, it's something much deeper than that. They've done us proud all of em, and now we just need them to get us over the line once and for all.

Tell you what n'all (and i've had a few whiskies so take that into account), but I like the new bloke from NSV (fecked if I can remember his name right now). I like the way that when he turns up at the Slaughterhouse gaff he just kind of ambles up on his own with his slacks on and a hiking coat. He looks like a geography teacher who's got lost. Thumbs up, no b0ll0cks out of him, just getting on with it. He'll do for me.

I also like the idea of developing Anfield as well. I know feck all about the infastructure around there and the people who need a new house and stuff so I hope i aren't treading on their toes when i say it, but just making the ground bigger has always made sense to me.

Whilst we own the terrace houses Mick, the access problem wont go away.

I'm for the first Hicks stadium, 70,000 seater, best stadium in the country.

Well I know feck all about it Reg so I can't even offer an argument. I've only been a couple of times, and getting there was a fecking nightmare with traffic and the like, as for parking forget it.

That said, if you go to White Hart Lane or Upton Park (the Bolyn or whatever the feck they call it these days) it's exactly the same. Arsenal has a tube really near, as does Chelsea, but Fulham is a little stroll away as is Crystal Palace too. Even QPR when they were up there (and they will be next season) isn't absolutely next door to the tube from memory, so we wouldn't be on our own.
