Hick will also try to stop the club from making any profit during this time.
Hicks could ask the pream to block liverpool from playing any game or for games to be set under closed doors.
this is going to get very nasty now.
the club was sort of solf 3 hours ago yet Hicks is in place to get it all put in the bim.
the sale of the club still leaves us with a debt of 37mil, thats about the norm for a big company.
buy do the new owners have the funds to buy players and build a ground.....no.
Your just p!ssed cos you didnt have a scooby what was happening
this made me LOL

But Hicks and Gillett, who it is understood walk away with no profit at all from three-and-a-half years in charge, are bound to contest the sale in court, meaning a period of uncertainty for fans about their exit being final.

ok so lets look at what could happen during the next few weeks.
the sale looks like being put on hold. the act of court would also stop the club from making any profit from its self, this means the only way fans could see the games is if they were free. the club shop would also have to be shut during this time and the online site shop.
the court colud also act and stop the club from speading any money, this could mean player using their own money to get to games, it would also mean no staff to be paid during this time, the club could ask them to work for free, but let it be known they would get their money if the sale happens.
can't find the link lakes

yer only 37 mil left, thats about the norm for a big company.
yes we could clear that debt in a year.......aslong as we give up the idea of a new ground.
the only way the new ground will be built is with a loan.........dont sound good to me mate, what do you think?

The old saying goes, get your house in order first and the rest follows.
Yes I agree ... then who ever lives in that house will be staving no food because no money ... maybe loan again ... then we going back to square 1 ...

Where do you expect them to get the money from, the tooth fairy? Of course its going to have to be borrowed.

The stadium will be built using loans or the redevelopment will be done with loans - but those loans will not go onto the club - they will be leveraged with future earnings - the same way the arsenal did it .
As for the courts - if you listened to Broughton it will be all done and dusted by the weekend - Hicks and Gillette relinquished their power when they brought in Broughton and they have to prove that Broughton and the other members of the board have acted in a way which isnt good for the club - they have even signed contracts to that effect - they cant stop it because they dont get any profit - they can try but no judge will rule in their favour . RBS, Barcap , the board , the prem will all favour the deal - they are trying to argue that they are undervalue it but they have to prove that the club is worth the 600 million they want and they cant - they cant prove the value of the club has doubled in 3 years . Its why they tried to sack Ayres and Purslow but he couldnt - this is last throw of the dice from a desperate man which will fail . He needs the profit to pay off other debt but its not going to happen . He is outnumbered and corner and has no way of stopping .

They borrowed to pay for the redevelopment of their baseball stadium - nearly 300 million and its pretty much paid for itself in the end .
