Sorry don't mean to ask a silly question but does this mean he has secured funding to pay off the loan? Isn't that still due tomorrow or on the 15th?

Bav, it appears that he is ready to fight any sale that doesn't meet his valuation even if this means litigation when RBS come calling.

Either that, or he's teamed up with some very unscrupulous individuals to raise funding required to pay of RBS and is simply buying time to sort it out. (aka he may have found funding)

I can see him getting a loan to pay off the fine and getting a year extention on the loan. Why should RBS kick up a fuss about raking in millions more interest for a year. Good night all!

Maybe Roy can use this to motivate the team and show what the club is all about during the most trying of times.

This part of Skysports site Meltdown threatens Anfield story has to be in line for  understatement of Century award

"The American duo have become increasingly unpopular with Anfield supporters, who blame their on-field woes on the behind-the-scenes bickering which exploded further on Tuesday evening"
