Exactly they borrowed it! Greedy fks were offered 500Mil by DIC. They could have taken that and made a huge profit!

As much as it pains me to say I think we may have to brave it out another season whilst our value drops. This guy just won't shift and RBS don't look like they have any balls either.

With my hand on my heart and Fowler (God) as my witness somebody pay for a plain ticket and put me in touch state side with someone who can point me in the right direction and i will walk upto that fat c*nt and blow his head off in full public view.

Yes i may do 20 - 30 years but i would serve everyone of those days with a smile on my face and a warm feeling inside knowing i had done the right thing. It maybe a long sentence but i could that way atleast i know that i will still have a club to support upon my release.

Other than what these 2 cancers are doing to the love of my life my life is pretty perfect in every way at present yet some how i was admitted to hospital last week with a ruptured ulcer caused by STRESS.

These may sound like hollow words we have all spoken to ourselves in the past but i have finally snapped. I feel like nothing else will end this now and i for one want to be on the front page of every paper world wide who is glad to be a murderer.

Hicks & Gillett believe the bids "dramatically undervalue" #LFC and their "significant investment" in the club. Erm...

"significant investment"

That's got to be a joke.

Full statement from Cancer & Aids

In April, we confirmed our joint agreement to sell Liverpool Football Club and appointed a new chairman and advisers to oversee the process. At that time, we and Martin Broughton stated our commitment to finding the right buyer for LFC, one that could support and sustain the club in the future. The board has been presented with offers which we believe dramatically undervalue the club.

To be clear, there is no change in our commitment to finding a buyer for LFC at a fair price, that reflects the very significant investment we have made. We will, however, resist any attempt to sell the club without due process or agreement by the owners.

Is that why you pair of b@stards have been looking to re-finance all summer and visiting every bank/loan sharks in the world?

Hicks & Gillett snookered themselves by appointing Broughton as they cannot remove Purslow or Ayre without permission of chairman

This is true read Igors post from earlier, thats in Ayers and Purslows contract.

We are fecked if Hicks brings in Jimmy feckin Mack and that Lori slag, but then again they would have to work in Liverpool so it might not be a bad thing afterall ;)

Been informed that release clause expired earlier this month (via @thefrankhealy) which would explain G&H's attempt to overhaul #LFC board

I hate our commercial side of the club but Ayres has brought millions in, in commercial deals Hicks is cutting his nose off to spite his face here. Unbelievable.

Hi Lyns,

I don't personally know or have met Ian Ayres but I do know
members of his family and they can't speak highly enough of him and describe him as fiercely red with business acumen beyond compare.

I know you might think well his family would say that but trust me Lyns, I know these people and if he was a knob they would say so !  :D

He described the commercail side of the club as a joke when he arrived and lets be honest he was right. Post Istanbul we couldn't even get the shirts out on time or in the quantities demanded.

Your spot on , he's brought millions in from renogotiating business deals for the club and is switched on. Many companies involved with the club werre getting us on the cheap but he sorted that out.

I know who I'd trust ........

This man has lost all concept of reality. Pure greed has completely blinded any common sense.

Btw Ciggy, litigation (aka due process) will not last long. When a bank comes calling for money, you simply have to pay up or risk losing assets against which you borrowed.

The only risk is that it won't be Oct 15th, but it certainly won't be next year.

I thought those 2 could not veto any sales of the club, that it was down to Broughton, the rest of the board and Barcap?

Anyway I can't take any more of this tonight. Don't want to sound like a knee jerk but if these 2 clowns remain in charge can we pretty much kiss Torres goodbye in the summer if not sooner? I don't see anyone willing to pay silly money for the club, a club that is systematically being asset stripped and run down. I just can't see it.

Hiya Ian i didnt mean I hated Ian Ayres mate I hate the tat that the commerical department sell like LFC capes  :D

But he had trebled the income and sealed the Standard Chartered deal Hicks is off his head if he thinks getting shut of him and hiring Jimmy mack hicks to do the same job is going to improve the commercial side.

I think the premier league might get involved in this nonsense now its gone to far now open warfare and civil war in the boardroom in England most successfull club no one has ever seen anything like this ever even the clubs that have gone into administration nothing like this has ever happened before, Im gobsmacked.

So can someone tell me how Roy and the Gang are supposed to continue producing goods on the field with all this being made public?

Maybe Roy can use this to motivate the team and show what the club is all about during the most trying of times.
