he would make a good ball boy. Hes dead quick so would get the ball for us back quick. Plus he wouldnt have to worry about crossing the ball with his feet something he finds extremely difficult.

That old line always makes me laugh, of course you'd refuse the money yourself or at the very least donate it all to charity. :no

Im glad it amuses you.
I would have more pride in myself as a professional footballer and wouldnt put myself through the embarrassment of sitting on the bench or in the stands for years while getting paid thousands. I have more self esteem and pride to do that. I would have to move and try to get a game with another team.
Of course getting well paid for doing nothing is a dream job in anyones eyes. But is it worth the price of being mocked, laughed at and thought of as a selfish, childish, worthless, useless pr'ick?

The first game he starts this season, he scores... So the manager takes him off. I'd like to see him get a run in our first choice XI on the right. Hopefully he'll rediscover the confidence he had in his first season with us that has since been drained out of him. I get the impression from his play when he gets these "chances" in the first team he's under so much pressure to do something big that he forgets the basics (or maybe this is because he's usually surrounded by other less-able fringe players). He knows if he doesn't leave his mark (or even if he does) he won't be playing for the next few games. Irony being that Lucas, Insua and Kuyt get/got "chance" after "chance" after "chance" even when it's obvious to everyone they've been offering nothing.
we've only won it 5 times

I have to disagree with PabloAimar, Kuyt offers alot to the team. He's intelligent, works hard (obvious one), keeps the ball well and brings other people into the game plus he chips in with the odd goal.

On the Babel issue. He's sh!t isn't he. Sell him.

WHat Babel had done not to get a start really puzzled me. What Maxi did to warrant a start also puzzled me. Hope Woy can give me the answer. If Lucas can be taken out in favor of Poulsen, then Maxi should be taken out as well since his performance is worse than Lucas (can't believe i just said that :D ). If WOy hated Babel's work ethic or his rap music then should at least give Pacheco a run as he doesn't rap and got a good work ethic. Younger player like him would be more hungrier to show what they can do and you can at leaset see some effort out there than to just float around.

:D If he wasn't a footballer he would probably be a decent enough guy to go for a pint with. He's no different from any other lad that age living the dream, ok so he hasn't lived up to his label but there are more mediocre players playing for us now tbh so im not even bothered about Babel. He will probably end up going in the summer on a free or cheap anyway.

Utterly shabite. Should have been sold while we had the chance to get decent money for him i.e. a season or two ago. Now, after the headline-grabbing performance against Northampton town and with his contract fast running down, it's hard to see us getting anywhere near the £8m that Birmingham reportedly offered. I honestly can't believe he's still here. Are there ANY Babelians left?
