This is what Roy has said:
Meanwhile, Hodgson reiterated his belief that no-one should be judging his Liverpool team until the Barclays Premier League season is at least 10 games old.
"We've played eight, won five, drawn two and lost one so far in all competitions - I don't think that's a bad start to the season by any stretch of the imagination," he said.
"It's a new team and a tough start to the season in terms of the programme. Like lots of teams at the moment, we've got less points than we would like and we're firmly stuck in a group of teams between four and six points, which basically takes into account 90 per cent of the league at the moment.
"As I've said before, and will no doubt keep repeating until 10 league games have passed, it is pointless to discuss league positions. You might start discussing good starts, bad starts and mediocre starts after 10 games, but not after four games."
Fits in nicely with this thread... cos after these 6 games it will be the 10 games that Roy is referring to and we should have some incite into how we've started and how we'll do.
