it's a joke because even the likes of newcastle, who were challenging the top 2 last season are even worse than us. i just think our position makes a mockery of the league this season. we've been poor and could still qualify for europes top competition. that is the light at the end of the tunnel

Yeah ok thats fair enough.

Only the champions and champions league winners should be in that compitition. Everyone knows that. The Uefa cup would then be restored back to its former glory and probably be harder to win than the CL and the Cup Winners Cup should be brought back.

champions league should be a straight knockout between champions, i agree with that. the thing is people say the uefa cup is "mickey mouse" when they're in the champions league, but once they only get in the uefa it becomes "a very important competition."
