how can it be mate, so far they have only put a low bid in and even thats to buy the debt and not the club, they are taking the :censored: if you ask me.

I'm sorry but did you not read the report that Heung has put in a bid to buy the club - they want the club debt free , they want to build the stadium , they want to invest in the squad , they want to expand our commercial Market to the far east and they want to ensure the yanks make no profit from there investment of nil pounds .

Why are you sso against their bid ? Sounds great to me . What is your problem with them

The problem is two fold
, one i dont think its the truth (sorry been burnt by G&H and getting my trust is going to be hard)

two. There is another bid that is very close to being done.

And which bid is that which is close ?

Think it was the secretary of UEFA and he was asked on ssn before if they are concerned about China investing in Liverpool and would they block it

he basically said they are not arsed as long as they pass the premier league test

gettin on me tats that sky are using this angle but hardly surprising

And your happy with that when we don't know where the money is coming from and he is giving the yanks profit and has not mentioned what he wants to do over 5 years ?! Also talk of club still being in debt and his links to Gillette .I am surprised you say it's close when it's not the preffered bid off three of the board members ?! Strange lakes - where are you getting your info from as it goes against everything I have heard and read

but you are not your government.   It would be or is a totally different proposition if Chinese people are buying the club compared to the Chinese government.   Yes, it would be stupid to say that H&G are bad owners because of the all the horrible things that the American government has done. (they are bad owners for other reasons).   But if the US Treasury wanted to buy Liverpool, or ANY government for that matter, there would certainly be cause for alarm, and you could point out all the human rights the government has violated and point out that all the money they have, they stole from their people.

The Chinese government is just one of the worst around (despite not being as bad as they used to be)

Well I can't see the high risk with the Chinese investors - from the outside it looks as good as you can get and we going to have to trust someone and not tar everyone with the same brush as the parasites . You only have to look at the previous record of Heung to see the success the guy has had over the years .

Chinese markets often borrow money for stock purchases and that is high risk.

Yet hasn't it already been stated by them that money has been set aside for the purchase and the money hasn't been borrowed and there will be NO debt against the club ?

i think most culture dont like to lose face.
i have saw the Chinese running business and i have no worries about them taking over our club.

US is slowly and surely losing their status as a superpower country and China is raising to meet that status. So the future is bright.

China property risk is worse than in US
By Geoff Dyer in Beijing

Published: May 31 2010 20:08 | Last updated: May 31 2010 20:08

The problems in China’s housing market are more severe than those in the US before the financial crisis because they combine a potential bubble with the risk of social discontent, according to an adviser to the Chinese central bank
Li Daokui, a professor at Tsinghua University and a member of the Chinese central bank’s monetary policy committee, said recent government measures to cool the property market needed to be part of a long-term push to bring high housing prices under control.

Lex: China property - -01He added that there were still signs that the economy was overheating and recommended modest increases in interest rates and the level of the currency.

“The housing market problem in China is actually much, much more fundamental, much bigger than the housing market problem in the US and UK before your financial crisis,” he said in an interview. “It is more than [just] a bubble problem.”

Lakes your clutching at straws now trying to discredit them and IMO the reason you are is because of the human rights factor . Your now moving onto their housing problems which once again I'm sure has nothing to do with Heung and his investors - read up his cv . How he gets the money is entirely up to him and his investors as long as there is no debt on the club .
